In 2021 Center Stage will be starting it's 21st year of teaching dance to area students. Our 17,000 sf studio is one of the best dance facilities in Prior Lake / Savage. Our dance program offers many classes to fit your needs and your child's desire. Our Recreational Program is second to none. Our students are offered a wide variety of classes including, Ballet, Jazz, Tap, Lyrical, and Hip Hop.
Each class is a structured and fun environment, geared towards helping each dancer master their skills. I am so happy this is the dance studio I chose for my daughter when she was 4! Penny has over 36 years of experience with youth based performing arts groups such as Drill Team, Dance line, and Color guard. Her award winning groups have performed at the World Series and Super Bowl XXVII. Penny focuses her attention to the day to day operations of the studio, attending to the needs of the students and parents.

We, at Center Stage Dance Studio, are committed to giving each student a solid dance education focusing on technique, musicality, and showmanship. Our classes are designed to provide a nurturing environment where each student is encouraged to reach their highest potential. Our highly qualified staff leads structured, challenging classes that are full of creativity and enthusiasm.
Center Stage will offer TWO distinctive Summer Dance Camps for ages 3 to 6. Each Camp is tailored to the dancers interest and abilities. If you are an existing dancer, these are a fun way to enhance your skills while having some great summer fun. If you are a new student interested in dance but not sure of the commitment, these are a great way to "test the waters" to see if what dance is all about.

I’ve had both my daughters at this studio for years and couldn’t be happier with their experience here. We tried two other studios before finding the right fit here and couldn’t imagine ourselves elsewhere. Beyond offering great technique and teaching, they’ve built confidence and more in my girls. Highly recommend.

Wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. Because of their negligence, my sister had to have a hip surgery at 14 to repair cartilage damage and now has chronic migraines because the teacher wasn't spotting when she was doing tricks & she fell on her head. Both injuries could have been prevented.
On top of that, the owner's 40+ year-old son-in-law harassed her (a minor) online and when brought up to the owner/staff, they accused my sister and father of lying and covered it up. I wouldn't feel safe leaving her there alone & am appalled that they're covering up that kind of behavior when all or most

I can't tell you how much of a thrill it was for me to watch my 5 year old granddaughter doing her dances at her recital with a smile on her face. You can see the pride of real accomplishment in her and the other dancers' faces. As well as training dancers, they are building confidence, self-esteem and outgoing personalities.
