Premiere Dance Academy is based on the philosophy that everyone should personally experience the world of dance. Dance develops balance, control, posture, focus and fine-tuned listening skills. Because dance inherently involves problem solving, pattern and sequence, it enhances higher thinking abilities.
Excellent training in dance technique, teamwork and performance quality promotes self-confidence, creativity and a sense of exuberance in accomplishment. Our goal is to provide each dancer the opportunity to grow and learn in each of these areas.

Services
We offer a large recreational program with high quality instruction. This program is well suited for any dancer age 4-18 that would like to dance without the full-time commitment of the competitive dancer or would like to train and increase their technical skills to prepare for the competition environment.
Includes a Ballet intensive and evaluation, Jazz class with skills and routine taught, Tap class with skills and routine taught. If you are considering auditioning for a Company Line, please keep in mind that our selection will be based on participation in the Audition intensive, audition scores, which include technique, style, execution, performance, and knowledge of the routines.
If your child is 3 or 4 yrs old, you may sign up for our popular Little Starz Program! It is an "in house" program geared for the younger age dancer and is a great intro into the world of dance without the long term commitment and cost. The sessions run 7 weeks with an in-house weekend showcase and certificate of completion at the end of the session.
This summer we will be offering weekly training sessions as well as additional specialty workshops. At this time, we will be taking limited enrollment for each session and hope to open up more spots as we get closer to Summer! Our weekly training sessions will focus on Technique, Ballet, PBT (Progressing Ballet Technique), McGovern Method, Stretching and Combinations!
We will have 3 smaller shows that feature our recreational, Hot Kix and Darby's classes with special performances from our Company small groups as well. Every family will be allowed to purchase 2 tickets for each show that they have a dance participating in. If you have more than on dancer in a show you will still only be allowed 2 tickets total for that show.

I signed my 4 year old daughter up for the ‘Little Starz Pre-School Program.’ On her first day of class, we walked our daughter into the studio and weren’t greeted by any employees, no one introduced themselves to us and no one asked my daughters name before taking her upstairs to the class. The parents aren’t allowed upstairs to the studio and are not allowed to watch while they dance. One of the employees yelled at me for going upstairs to check on my daughter when I got concerned and said very loud and firmly, “Do NOT open that door!”
