Bridgetown Nutrition offers nutritional consulting services to individuals interested in improving their health and wellness through the power of food and lifestyle. Nutritional consulting services are provided by Riley Wimminger, MScN. Riley's area of expertise is in helping individuals struggling with IBS, SIBO, SIFO, candida, food sensitivities, histamine intolerance, and related digestive health concerns.
Bridgetown Nutrition was created to serve the needs of individuals suffering from Small Intestine Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO), Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), food sensitivities/intolerances, and related chronic health conditions. At Bridgetown Nutrition, we understand that what goes in, on, and around your body matters.
I am a real fan of Riley and Bridgetown Nutrition! My Naturopath labeled me a "comfort food eater" (news to me;) and said I needed to see Riley, someone knowledgeable about SIBO who could help me make better food choices. Since January Riley and I have been having regular online meetings and she has been amazing!
They also may work well for those with food sensitivities, allergies, or intolerances. All recipes below are gluten-free, dairy-free, soy-free, and low FODMAP. They also tend to be easy on the oats, eggs, and fruit. Some recipes are also compliant with Dr. Siebecker's SIBO Specific Food Guide (SSFG), the Paleo diet, and the Specific Carbohydrate Diet (SCD).
Small Intestine Bacterial Overgrowth (SIBO) is a condition that is believed to contribute to the symptoms experienced by many individuals with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and a variety of other chronic illnesses. The name "small intestine bacterial overgrowth" is an accurate description of the process that is occurring inside the body- there is an overgrowth of bacteria in the small intestine.
