The Glassboat used to be one of my favorite stores; unique clothes, shoes and jewelery. Many of the items are already pricey. The store is now adding a 3.5% fee to any credit card purchase. Customers including me frown upon extra fees. The process to avoid these fees left me frustrated and questioning whether I should remain a customer.
If you want to avoid the added fees; bring a debit card or a check (who uses checks or debit cards anymore?).
The owner should consider the small profit against the potential profit loss from turning away some customers due

Weird and borderline hostile service. I felt like I had done something wrong or was being suspected of stealing. Cool handmade jewelry though, beautiful work by local artists. Came looking for christmas gifts but the service made me think twice.

I love this shop. They support local artists and have a broad selection of furniture , clothes, jewelry, bags etc.

Friendly staff very unique products. A small business in Carytown worth supporting. Even if it's not for you, you'll know someone it is for.

A wonderful store with an eclectic blend of clothing, candles, soaps, jewelry, cards, and a whole lot more. The people working there were extremely nice and a joy to talk with. Stop in if you’re walking through Carytown.

I love this place!!! Everyone is very nice, helpful and the owner is absolutely terrific. They always make you feel welcome. So many different styles and design's in clothing and furniture . Not only did I love the clothing the boots were to die for. I get so many compliments whenever I am wearing something purchased from Glassboat. The prices are definitely within reason for the merchandise. I can come out with something nice and feel good about it . It is one of my favorite stores located in Cary Town.

This is one of my most favorite boutiques ever. I've been shopping at Glassboat for over 20years and they have outfitted my ever changing body from pre-baby size three to post baby double digits. The ladies are super friendly and painfully honest. If it doesn't fit my body type they are kind and polite enough to find other more appropriate pieces of clothing. The styles and types and clothing have taking me from romping around town to formal events over the years! Someone in my family receives a present from Glassboat (along with myself ) for each major holiday!

We visited your boutique today along with my Mom and sister. I was very impressed with the selections and customer service. We look forward to returning.

I went to GlassBoat to look around and ended up purchasing a watch.
The watch was preused. ?
It was scratched, dinged up, there were chips of glass missing out of the glass face, and had sweat dust (?) collected in the band seams by the closure clasp.
So at $140.00 (full price), I returned it.

Thankfully they accepted my return and after I asked for a duplicate, and kindly offered to order an exact copy in with 50% down. (That makes me nervous, so I couldn't get myself to do it, but it was the offer that counted- so thank you! )

We went there a few weeks ago and they had some great buys and awesome looking accessories for our living room. They were courteous and it was a good deal all around.

Glassboat has a fun mixture of an inventory. One half of the store is dedicated to upscale but slightly bohemian apparel. You'll see lots of linen, flowing skirts, cowboy boots and layering pieces. Make sure to check out the jewelry case for a stunning selection of handmade jewelry. There's always something I want.

The other half of the store is filled with new and antique furniture, books, home decor, linens and more. Think lots of leather, great statement pieces and items with a bit of an old feel, even if they're new. Everything is very nice and high end.
