Dental bonding is the procedure where we apply a tooth colored plastic material to a patient's tooth. Using a special light, the material hardens and bonds the material to the tooth. Dental bonding is used to improve a patient's smile. It can be used on cracked and decaying teeth. It also can be used for cavities.
Professional cleanings also give our dentists a chance to really look at your teeth. We will do a thorough examination to make sure that you don't have any other problems that need to be addressed. Crowns have a variety of uses. In some cases that require a large filling, there isn't enough tooth remaining to keep the filling in place. A crown can strengthen the tooth and hold the filling. Crowns can also protect teeth that are weak, or help fix ones that are broken. Discolored or misshaped teeth can be covered by a crown, as can dental implants.
Veneers are thin shells intended to cover the front side of teeth to hide stains, chips, decay, or irregularities. A dental technician uses a model created by a dentist to make a custom shell out of specials materials. Because veneers require removing some enamel, they are usually permanent. Your dentist will typically recommend avoiding food and drink that will stain your veneers.

Having discovered a hitherto unknown technology problem that corrupted the electronic file of a scan of my teeth, Dr. Peri brought me back for a second scan after making sure that the technology problem had been corrected. She and Jennifer, her assistant, apologized for the problem (which was certainly not their fault) and then proceeded to do an expeditious yet careful second scan, checking to be sure that it was securely saved and received by the lab. My family and I are new in town. We were referred by my coworker. The entire staff were very polite and professional. I enjoyed the fact Jennifer and Doctor Peri Hanawalt were attentive and thorough with my examination. Every issue was explained in detail. I appreciated that.

I finally got to have my teeth cleaned after having to postpone due to one thing after the other, including COVID. So glad they were able to reopen. I am easy to please...but my picky 6 year old is another story. Nobody likes going to the dentist...well now i have a child who does. Hands down the best place ever for adults and kids. We saw Dr. Peri and I can't say enough about how great she was and her bedside manner was phenomenal. She was full of energy and made my 6 year old so comfortable. She definitely knows her stuff as well. My son asked when he could go back to wear the cool sunglasses Dr. Peri let him wear. This office definitely has this family of 5 for life. I'm writing this review for my parents. They don't Yelp but they spent ten minutes telling me how great this dentist is and said they want to write a review so I offered to write a one for them.
They said "Dr Peri gives shots so well that you don't feel any pain whatever. Her skills as a dentist are SO GOOD. She even called the evening after we had procedures to follow up and make sure we were ok. Also, the support staff was excellent. She's the best dentist we've ever had".
No kidding, I've never seen them this excited about going to the dentist.

I have been going to Dr.Hanawalt's office for many, many years. My mom went to him first and because she highly recommended him, I went there. I must start by saying that I have always had severe anxiety when it came to going to the dentist- so much so that I avoided going for many years. Everyone at the office is friendly, warm, and inviting. They were aware of my stress issues and treated my very kindly. INTERESTING. There are 7 reviews for this dental office. HOWEVER, the only one that shows up without a 'filter' is the single negative one. Great. So, to try and counteract that, I'll reiterate my previous review. This is an EXCELLENT dental office. If you want a REAL person to care for you...then this is the dental office for you. Dr. Hanawalt's daughter is now on the team too..which allows better Dr. availability.

I had avoided going to the dentist for years due to fear. So, of course I had some dental issues. These were noted during a June exam.
I was back in for a procedure in February, at that time it was noted that two of my teeth were sensitive to temp and pressure. A filling was scheduled (with a resident dentist) for March.
I was still in pain after that, and returned. The filling was redone (by Dr. Hanawalt) due to a piece falling out.
The pain continued, and I went back. I was told that
