My passion for eastern medicine grew out of my own pain and journey as a patient seeking treatment for chronic pain and fatigue. Despite countless doctor visits and treatment approaches, I was unable to find healing. When all pharmacological drugs and treatments failed, I turned to eastern medicine.

Acupuncture treatment is one of the oldest healing modalities in the world. In traditional Chinese Medicine, acupuncture is rooted in the belief that disease is caused by disruptions to the flow of energy, or qi, in our body. Acupuncturists insert hair-thin needles to specific acupuncture points throughout the body to restore the flow of qi, balance the body's energy, stimulate healing, and promote relaxation.
Cupping therapy is a form of treatment that uses suction to place rounded glass cups on the skin to improve circulation, relax the tissue and improve blood flow. The pressure that the cups create draws blood to the affected area, increasing your blood flow overall. The increased blood flow can relieve muscle tension, improve circulation, reduce inflammation, and also help with the common cold, asthma and sinus infections.
Massage therapy is wonderful to add to prenatal care. Also, it is a healthy way to reduce stress and promote overall wellness. During pregnancy, many women experience backaches, stiff neck, leg cramps, headaches and edema (or swelling).
