Recorded in a measurement know as diopters (D), the strength of a lens can be manipulated by changing the material it is made from and by altering the curvature and shape of the lens. A minus (-) sign in front of the diopter numerical indicates that the lens is concave, a lens shape typically used to enhance distance vision.
Often the Optical Staff of The Eye Store and The Eye Shoppe can repair ones eyewear. Ideally it is best to repair a broken frame with the identical part. However, sometimes replacement parts are not available and at that point the staff will utilize all resources to make the repair to help out the customer.

When an individual has an interest in wearing contact lenses, the examining eye care specialist will determine if that individual is a good candidate to wear contact lenses. There are many factors that come into play when one is considering contact lenses. In younger individuals consideration of their actual age and their level of responsibility may be key factors to the success of their wearing contact lenses.

About a month ago I went into the Dresher Eye store and to date I have not received my glasses. I called the store and spoke to Jeff who advised me that the glasses were damaged and he sent them back. He said he would check on them and get back to me, but I never heard from him. And that was over a week ago.
Worst customer service ever, and it's my understanding that Jeff is the owner. Wow what has happened to good customer service!!!!!!

So when you go to get an eye exam all they need to do is measure your eyes, write down the numbers and submit it to the factory where they make the eyeglasses. Well, they did that but they wrote down the numbers incorrectly. So I waited a couple weeks, went into the store, put on the glasses and they don't fit. Then the guy says "well we have to reorder it." A normal sales person would have felt bad about the mistake and said, let me pay to rush it. When I ask the guy about this he says, "well we can do it but you'll have to pay for it." Meanwhile, by the time

They just don't get it. One bit. Whatsoever.
I went in and asked to try on some WileyX goggles. Jeffrey (who is the owner, btw) hands me a pair of Oakleys.
After asking about WileyX again, he asks about my prescription. I give it to him and he goes into the back, comes out and gives me a quote for the Oakley with 2 different lenses (one clear, one sunglasses).
I tell him I was interested in Transitions (for those who don't know - they're lenses that turn dark in sunlight), not two separate sets of lenses and that I'm interested in the Wileys not the Oakleys.
