The Crafts Inn
For over 100 years, the Crafts Inn has been a delightful destination in the heart of Vermont. Featuring a great location, pool and sauna, and historic architecture, we would be thrilled to welcome you as our guest. The Crafts Inn, along with Memorial Hall (which is next door), were designed by architects, Mead, McKim & White, with the New York firm of Stanford White.

White was considered one of the preeminent architects of his time. The hotel was built more as a resort for visitors who would be staying for an extended period, as opposed to other accommodations in the area, designed largely for travelers passing through. A lot of people would come up from the city.

It is a beautiful place but i would not come back.
The website price was different then the price given over the phone. They do not consider prices for people who just want to visit, and people who are in a time share. They knew they were understaffed and they knew they had to close down the ammedities sooner, but didnt lower the price for that change. When we asked for a discount bc the ammedities were closed sooner, they basically disgarded our opinion by telling us that if the other customers paid the same price then we should pay it too, which made me feel as though they didnt consider the

Nice inn - no A/C, so it can get hot - great location in the center of Wilmington - it is a bit dated

Well when we call to confirm the reservation we made using RPI we got a manager that question our service dog and ask about papers and credibility I immediately overextended about the law then she questioned what kind of dog she was. She told me there was a room one room where dogs were allowed. When we got there and checked in a very nice lady took care of us and took our information and most likely instructed by the manager told us they needed my credit card in case the dog chewed the couch or destroyed something. We check in about two hours later we could not stand the stench of urine in room

Turn off the century hotel right downtown Wilmington (not that downtown is all that large in this quaint little town). Full kitchen, very handy with a lot of restaurants closed midweek here in town. Front desk staff very friendly and helpful. Private off street parking.

Nice hotel, nice staff, nice facilities, nice town. Good hiking and swimming easily accessible. Post COVID not many restaurants yet, but the open ones were good.

I love this place!! My mother used to take me every year and now she’s taking my 5 yo son. It’s so quaint and peaceful! The pool and racquetball court is amazing! Can’t wait to go next year!

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!

I want to just say that I travel A LOT so if you're reading this, I'm not just the type of customer who complains just to complain.

I have traveled to Wilmington for 6 years and I have never stayed at a worst place than this. The woman at the desk is incredibly rude. We were put in a room by the pool which was very loud and we have a baby. The layout of the room is awkward and the bathroom is super far from the bedroom. I ended up breaking a toe in the middle of the night because of it. When I told them, they could care less and put me on the phone with the manager

Facilities were great but I would not recommend this inn unless you're willing to deal with the very cranky staff. Just stayed at this location during a not so busy weekend. Staff was incredibly rude throughout our entire stay. Lady was knocking on our door at 9:59 AM telling us that we needed to checkout now and leave the room....as we were clearly packing up preparing to checkout. She stood at the door until my family and I moved our luggage out of the room. I've never experienced such a careless and rude hospitality staff in my life.

The place is awesome , just in the center of the town and the best part of the stay was the massage at Serenity Spa at crafts inn. Have been getting massages for a long time but the couples learning experience was out of the world , I highly recommend and a must try . Laura is just amazing and in the moment with you . She is an excellent teacher n passionate of her work . Wish we had more time but we are coming back for sure to get a massage from Laura .
