The response to my initial inquiry on a Saturday was very prompt. He got back to me within a couple of hours, and we set up a time for him to come today. He came on a Sunday afternoon which was very impressive. He was friendly and courteous and mindful of the health of both of us. He very quickly discerned the problem. Murf's Appliance is top notch. The owner came out to my home to fix a washing machine for me, when I was out of town. They got out there quickly, sent photos and gave me details on what they found, noted that the issue I *thought* I had was not really an issue (which saved me a lot of unnecessary expense). They were great at giving me a description at what they found, and were polite and professional on all fronts. I'm a real estate broker and have decades of experience working with a *lot* of appliance repair firms and contractors... I recommend Murf's Appliance unreservedly.

Murph showed up with a teenager in the car. He did not even bring in a tool bag to diagnose the dishwasher. Did not bother pulling out the appliance either. Charged $85 and was on his way. I had another repair company comer over and they pulled the unit out. Checked the wiring and the dishwasher worked again. Won't recommend Murph.

Thought our washing machine had died. Murf came out and quickly found and fixed the problem first time out. No attempt to "up-sell". He was easy to get ahold of and very responsive. Great value for money.
Shared his private number incase number listed on website didn't work. A few months later our ice maker died. Again, prompt response, quick diagnosis, straightforward repair. Murf is a trustworthy, competent appliance repairman. Highly recommended

Murf is a life saver! We have used his services multiple times and he never disappoints. Most recently our refrigerator died. I called him Saturday morning. Even though he doesn't usually work weekends he came over and was able to bring the fridge back to life. We were so incredibly thankful. I always call Murf first when things go wrong!

I have a rental property in Boise (I live in Southern California) and about two weeks ago the washer broke down. You can imagine the stress of finding dependable repair companies- from roofers to appliance to landscapers- being a thousand miles away and trusting these said companies to take care of your investment. When I first called Murf’s I explained the situation of my rental property’s washer being broken and having no idea why. He assured me he’d check it out and as soon as he knew what was wrong would call me. He did so in a very timely way, explained the issue, and fixed the washer

I really do not know what I would do without Murf's!! My beautiful Bertazzoni stove was on the fritz again and Murf spent a total of five or six hours on it. Found parts from Italy, ordered them and made it work! He has repaired other cheaply constructed stoves for me, too.
He is honest, reasonable and on time! I highly, highly recommend this business.

It was right before Thanksgiving 2015. I was making bacon in the oven (yes, I bake my bacon). The timer went off but the danged door to my oven would NOT open! grrrr! I tried everything I could think of to get that danged oven open: pulled the manual, troubleshooting, YouTube, let the oven cool down. Everything I could think of I tried. But nope. Nothing worked. And the bacon is danged crispy by then. grrrr!

My only complaint is that he did not return our call as quickly as we'd have liked.
After paying some schlub $50 just to come out and say, "yeah, there's nothing wrong with your washer," only to have it continue operating out of balance and "dancing" every time the spin cycle started, Murf called me back. We explained the issue, everything that went on, and he recommended just getting a new washer. He could have come out and charged me his fee, but instead chose to recommend a shop for great refurbished appliances.

My appliances are "high end" but are getting older and replacement of any of them would be expensive to say the least.
Murf responded to my my repair request promptly, diagnosed the problem quickly, ordered the part, and returned to complete the repair.
Murf also repaired the microwave some years ago and saved me a considerable amount of money on that repair as the microwave and oven are one unit.
Murf is "old school", meaning he knows what he is doing
