For a privately owned American fare diner, Charlie's add flair in both atmosphere and food. This is a true chef prepared dishes with great choices. The bar side offers great TVs for awesome football action...or Olympics! Then they offer special nights of wine tasting....a great find for a local restaurant.

Ordered the pot roast and husband got chicken fried chicken and it was delicious. Best pot roast I've ever had!! Service was amazing! So extremely friendly. Definitely will be coming back to try the rest of their awesome looking menu!

Chicken fried steak took up the whole plate. Eggs cooked perfectly and home fries crispy soft texture. This was the ultimate comfort food breakfast and it's served all day. Great service, friendly staff and even the cook came around to tell visitors the specials and what was good.

Very good food and reasonable prices. I had the fish sandwich and chowder and must say it competes with other places that have chowder as a primary menu item. Very helpful staff.

Had club sandwich. It was wonderful, avocado, bacon, thinly cut turkey, fresh lettuce, tomatoes slices. Perfectly prepared will for sure and return for another. Service was very friendly, attentative but not smothering.

Yummy food sure.
We like to come for Prime rib or a when we need chicken fried chicken slathered in gravy.
However 5 stars is not for the food. It's good.

Classic downtown restaurant for comfort food. Someday their famous salad bar will return. Great happy hour and daily specials. Also, you can get breakfast all day.

Saw this place driving around looking for parking and decided to give it a shot. Food was great and service was awesome. Michelle was our server and was a blast. 3 separate members of the staff all touched in to make sure all was well. Highly recommend trying the cheese curds and prime rib sandwich.

Wonder spontaneous lunch with the family. They gave the kids balloons after our meal and it absolutely made their day! Delish and good portions.

Stopped for breakfast Sunday morning a little after 8. i was greeted quickly and told i could sit where ever i wanted and she would follow me with the menu. she asked if i wanted coffee and when i said yes asked if i wanted cream as well. i ended up ordering the chicken in a biscuit and Yvette my waitress told me it is pure comfort food, she was absolutely correct. the food came out quickly and it was delicious. the breading came off some of the chicken but that's a small complaint. everything was perfectly cooked and i enjoyed every bite of it (i skipped some of the potatoes though they were delicious
