It was my first visit to the office. The staff was very patient and helpful. I felt that I got a thorough exam. Jazmin was new but very knowledgeable and confident in her role, as well as explaining each step. Dr. McKay was very professional and explained the next steps in my plan of care since I will need surgery.

Everyone was very kind, patient, and professional from when I came in to when I left. Someone let me know before they put the eye drops in that they might impair my vision for a few hours, but I would’ve appreciated further notice when I was setting up the appointment so I could’ve arranged a ride there and back. Other than that, no complaints!

My poor review is only to reflect the billing procedure and wait time for my visit, which has constantly been 40+ minutes past my scheduled time. I will say that Dr. Marzan was very nice and did a good job with my laser treatment. However, this place has not been transparent at all about their billing process. Every visit I would get charged with something that the front desk was unable to explain to me and kept telling me to refer to billing… in my opinion, it should be the front desk’s responsibility to inform the patient of why they are being charged. Since I’ve been going to Maryland Eye Care everyone is outstanding. Everyone that works there are so friendly and they really care about the patients. Dr.G the eye doctor is especially nice and he explains everything in detail to you and yes I would definitely recommend my family and friends to Maryland Eye Care. All of the eye care places and Drs.that I have gone to over the years I can truly say that Maryland Eye Care is number 1 for me.

I've been going to Dr. G. for years. He's the best. Not sure if I'll ever go back again though. Be very, very careful at the kiosk when you sign in. Read everything very carefully. They would not 'give' a copy of the prescription ... there was a $60 charge. I told them that was illegal (according to the FTC). The eyeglass contractor said I agreed to pay the $60 at sign in if I chose to get glasses elsewhere. Why pay $270 for one pair of lenses (put in my current frame) when I can get two complete pairs at Americans Best for $69. Please be careful when signing in.
