I was very pleased with Paul Sherman on my custody case. He got me everything I needed/wanted and then some. I was so worried this last year, being that I never went through anything like this before. So I recommend hiring Paul, if you do, be rest assured, if you have the best interest of your child in mind, he will prove that to the judge in court. His prices are very reasonable too, especially for the results i got. I realize this now after all is said and done and after asking friends about their cases/costs.

After paying Paul $2500 up front for a simple prenuptial agreement, he ignored me for a week and wouldn't send me the document until I showed up in person to his office. I asked for a refund as I did not want to retain his services anymore. He refused to furnish a refund and yelled at me using profanity and demanded that I get out of his office! Do Not Hire! Very unprofessional.

Do not retain this office if you want to get your custody case actually handled. We retained him for a high conflict custody case and it was the biggest waste of time, money, and endangered my step daughter. Paul let our case go a solid 6 months without even attempting to reschedule a court date. He does not return phone calls promptly, or even within 2 weeks. And even when you have to file your own court documents because of his neglect, he'll still charge you for them being sent to him automatically by the courts. This attorney is the most unethical attorney I have ever hear of. He didn't show up at a hearing and when we went to call him, he never answered the calls, or called back after us leaving a message for him to return the call. He also collaborated with the opposing attorney and filed a important order that we would absolutely not have approved.

When my daughters' mother suddenly left town with my daughter, I hired Paul to represent me in filing for emergency child endangerment custody. Unfortunately, he failed to even mention she had left town in the document we filed. He also failed to inform me the judge might ask for my daughters' birth certificate. Then, during the hearing, he mentioned her mothers' mental health issues, only to realize he forgot to put that in the document as well! Needless to say the motion was denied.

Best Portland Divorce and Custody Attorney. I highly recommend the Law Offices of Paul F. Sherman. Paul is a fantastic lawyer. I can't really give an accurate review because he never contacted me. I emailed once and called twice over a two week period and never got the courtesy of a response. He may very well be an excellent attorney, wish I could have rated his performance as opposed to his inability to manage his potential (and maybe current, who knows) client base.
