Amazing assisted living facility with staff that provides exceptional care for its' residents. I transferred my mother from another assisted care facility in Encino that claimed to provide outstanding care but in fact only cared about their bottom line. Garden of Palms is probably the best managed assisted care facility in Southern CA. Exceptional staff demonstrate on a daily basis their passion to provide the highest level of care for senior citizens. Having to find a loved one an assisted living community is one the most important decision I've ever had to make. After I toured 7 facilities, the decision was easy! The Garden of Palms. The facility is lovely, the residence were interacting with each other and enjoying various activities. My uncle's room is exactly as I hoped - a real bedroom & bathroom with a lil kitchenette. (Not hospital or rehab generic)

Garden of Palms has a very courteous and skilled staff.
They are very helpful, polite and pleasant.
There are plenty of fun activities, concerts, exercise, parties and religious services. This assisted living facility has a warm homelike atmosphere and provides great tasting kosher food and delightful accommodations. Garden of Palms provide a wide variety of services to cater to the needs of each individual resident!!

My dad was at Garden of Palms for a year before he needed hospice care. The facility allowed him to remain in his room and this was a great comfort for all of us. On the days that he was able to participate in activities he was warmly welcomed by the friends he had made as well as the staff. Before hospice he enjoyed the environment, the residents, the activities, and the food. While in hospice he has had the comfort of not having to be moved and of being surrounded by familiar faces who have treated him, and us, with kindness and care.

My mother has lived at Garden of Palms for over 3 years. Prior to that, she resided at a larger, quite upscale facility, which our family could not manage in the long-term and she needed a higher level of care. Garden of Palms is a smaller, homier, more intimate community. The food is homemade, the Activities Director is wonderful and plans concerts, crafts, exercise classes, etc. for the residents, the staff is warm and kind, the place is clean, there is an enclosed outdoor patio with a fountain downstairs, and another patio upstairs. There is a nurse on staff, an excellent hairdresser comes

My mom has been a resident for over a year and a half. I am very pleased with the care, attention, cleanliness and food. It's a simple home-like environment and not fancy, shmancy. It is what it's supposed to be. My mom is happy and has made friends with some very nice ladies. I wish the activities were more rich for those with clear minds like my mom's. The rooms could be updated, but they're fine. Food is tasty and kosher which is good for me when I stick around for lunch, but not so important for my mom.

My parents have lived at garden of palms for one year. They have been treated with love and respect. The caretakers are wonderful. The food is very good and the chef is extremely accommodating. The staff is lovely and the director puts her heart and soul into the operation. We looked at places in New York (since we moved my parents from New York) and the places we saw were cold and institution-like. I feel blessed that we found garden of palms for my parents. It lets me sleep at night knowing my parents are well taken care of.
