Since 1997, Better Living & Care has been providing quality, full service care for seniors. We are a family business operating five Los Angeles based Assisted Living/Residential Care Facilities for the elderly centrally located near Cedars Sinai hospital. We provide tiered levels of care to meet the personal needs of our residents.
Our homes are based on cognitive ability and range from fully alert to Alzheimer's & Dementia. Update** In addition to our daily activity program, Better Living now provides art instruction classes every other Friday with professional artists.

At Better Living & Care, we are always looking for ways to make our residents feel at home and finding new ways to enrich their lives. We have a strong commitment to excellence in caring for the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of our residents. Finally, all our homes share a common goal of maximizing independence while at the same time accurately identifying individual needs.
At Better Living & Care homes, we understand how critical it is to keep our residents active and stimulated. Unlike most board & care homes where it is the responsibily of the care staff to provide activities, we have an Activity Director on staff whose sole purpose is to plan and implement daily activities for our residents.
It was going to be a temporary solution until we found other care out of state. Very quickly it became apparent to our family that Better Living and Care truly lives up to their name. My mother's needs have been met with kindness, consideration, and, most of all, the upmost personalized care for her general health and well being.

Lucien and his staff are a wonderful gift to the older adults and the families they serve. As a Certified Aging Life Nurse Manger, I do not receive any compensation from senior homes or agencies. And I can say without a doubt that I would recommend their homes to my own family and loved ones. Highly recommend!

We are a placement agency that works with literally hundreds of board & care homes in the greater LA area. We have now been working with Lucien and Stella of Better Living and Care for over 5 years.
