Not sure where prior posts went. Here goes 202109... Front desk helpful by sending email remimders, late arrival instructions, and tending quickly to issues like clogged bathroom drain, acknowledging leaky windows from medium rain, and balcony ceiling needing repair. This is second time visit of many in the island area so comparing hotels this 1970s era building needs some maintenance attention and curb appeal with all the newer competition popping up. A little paint like baseboard trim and deep cleaning can spruce the place up to keep up. The tower beachside rooms have great views and are spacious

Although the Inn is right on the beach , our condo T103 needs work ! The bedroom had a horrible musty smell that we noticed as soon as we walked in ! The couch was very old and uncomfortable! The kitchen did have what you need but we had to go to the office for coffee mugs ( there were 2 but, 1 was cracked ). The bathroom had very low pressure in the sink. Owners need to do some updating and find out what the smell is !

Staff is supportive. Properties are very clean. Beach is wonderful and pool is great although rather small for inn this size. However, avoid Unit 81. Although very clean the bedding in both bedrooms is just awful. Mattresses are very old and impossible to achieve any comfort. We left king bed after one night and moved into room with twin beds. Almost as bad. One of them even had a cheap piece of foam jammed between the mattress and box spring in a lame attempt to prop it up and not replace it. Ask staff about better choices. Skip this....Just unacceptable.

Overall, we really enjoyed our stay. This property has all the best bits of nostalgia one might expect from an older property. The grounds are well kept. The units are cleaned very well. They have an abundance of lounge beach chairs and beach towels at no extra cost. The staff were very sweet and helpful.
The only thing keeping this from 5 stars for me is the price vs. the level of renovation. Our unit looked like it had been renovated in the '90s or early '00s. For $300/night in high season, it was super expensive for a dated kitchen and bath. While it's nice there are no hidden

Location is wonderful, and peaceful. Hearing the waves while drinking coffee is so relaxing. The condo tower is where we always stay in the 1 st floor. This visit we were in the 3rd floor where we had balcony and could still see the ocean while it was not the best of weather. The pullout in this particular condo was the worst ever. Springs were poking through. It definitely needs to be replaced.

It's important to remember this site has some individual owners so some units are going to be better than others. Our experience was great! Unit 201 is nicely renovated and boasts tremendous views from the living areas. The outside is nothing fancy but the grounds are very well kept.

The office staff are exceptional. The property was clean and well kept. It was built in 1970 so the place we had was showing it’s signs of age. The front desk will give you fresh towels or other things you need but there is no room cleaning or trash take out or towels brought in. We were expected to take out our own trash. The pool is nice and there are plenty of beach chairs to use. A little hard to find since there aren’t any signs on the road.

My observation of stay in 62 is quite similar to the 2 reviews for units 61 & 64...ours was also a "dump". Front door ill fitting and locks difficult...furniture is "early Goodwill" and no "beachy theme", with bad sofa/bed slump...ratty/dirty cushions. Poorly lit with only one lamp...hardly any decorations. Stove had an error message. TV's difficult to use. Some light switches installed upside down...only 1 receptacle in bathroom, and it went off with light (can't use a night light). Hard to see glass coffee table became a knee knocker. Plastic vertical

We stayed in the villas made for 4 or more family and although it was spacious it needs some updating for the price you pay, the beds are horrible felt really cheap and could use some new comforters. Needs more rugs to wipe your feet on a bigger dinner table and some better cleaning. There was smudges and stuff on the fridge and walls that needed to be wiped down. But on the plus side the pool was right in front of us (which was great for the kids) and the beach is very close. We enjoyed our stay but will prob go somewhere else next time.

So you wanna know about the turtle Crawl? Let me start your imagination by picturing yourself opening the front door of unit 61 and being completely underwhelmed. You walk in and see a hole in the wall also you hear the room next to you (they're not even talking loud) and the reason being is the walls are paper thin. Then you look at the beds and they look disgusting so you already know you're in for a terrible time. You check the bathroom and you guessed it... terrible! The toilet is non stop running and makes crazy noises all night (so does the heater/ac). You lay in the bed on the

Amazing views and beach access. The resort is very laid back and is great for family vacations due to living spaces and kitchen in each unit.
Other than that, the units my family and I stayed in were extremely outdated and felt it... musty smell, broken furniture, old couches, dirty rug, Grimy bathrooms, etc. It was hard to totally relax because none of us felt comfortable or clean in the units. Cleaning services only come once you check out, so we were constantly visiting the front desk to ask for basic stuff like toilet paper, towels, etc.

Unit 64 not so much. The unit should not be rented out. Stayed only because we paid $1,000 with no refund and no place to go. The room was clean but that's about it.
Rentals should be checked by the Management Company before they rent them out. Obviously this one was not.
Huge water stain in the bathroom (mold possible), broken headboard, missing slats on slider with no privacy at night, broken knobs on dresser and a toliet that ran day and night.

Been here seven times, always clean beautiful beach front rooms, gorgeous views, full Kitchen, separate bedrooms Bbq on premise, mini golf, shuffle board, right on the Gulf of Mexico, easy parking I highly recommend staying here, lounge chairs abundant (never have to worry about not having a chair) as many towels as you want, Laundry on premise, heated pool with Jacuzzi, Bathroom near pool (convenient) two shaded huts, can't wait to return!!!!!

The room was nicely located on the beach. It was expensive , but that's long boat key. The room was big and the bathroom was fine. The kitchen had everything you might need, though we didn't use much. The beach was beautiful. The little put put golf area was a nice touch. The cons however, was that the bed was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept on. I was in the military and a flight attendant, so this is saying a lot. The couch was also old and stinky. It felt dirty too. I felt this room was way over priced for what you got. Even if the room was free I would never stay there

The size of the room was nice but the floors were sticky and the bed was not very comfortable. Beautiful beach! That's always the highlight! Housekeeping never came to our room and we were there 4days. We had to exchange dirty towels at front desk and even fetch extra sheets. But you're expected to clean all dishes and take out trash or otherwise get an "extra cleaning fee". Funnily enough they have an envelope inside the room to tip housekeeping....not sure what you're tipping them for!?
I probably would not stay there again unless there were no other options.

This was a great little place for a few days away from it all. Upon checking in, we found that we were upgraded from our queen size to a king (Sweet!). Kitchen has fridge, oven & stove top, microwave and full sink. You are required to do your own dishes and remove your trash. No big deal when you are just steps away from a heated pool and the GORGEOUS Gulf of Mexico. This place is great for families.

I'm here for work and brought the family with me and needed something by the beach. Everything was booked in the area except for one room here. This place is great! Super clean, updated, well maintained, great pool, grill, and right on the beach! Room had a kitchenette that was perfect! Definitely coming back!!!
