Fitness Quest Physical Therapy was founded in 1998 and has been committed to providing one-on-one physical therapy interventions utilizing advanced clinical competency. We emphasize communication and education to the patient and physician throughout the physical therapy sessions.
In 2004 we expanded to offer our services in additional locations starting in Punta Gorda and working our way back north towards our original location in Downtown Sarasota.In December of 2013, Fitness Quest Physical Therapy acquired Bay Area Physical Therapy to expand their service area even further to include Manatee County.

During this time we are able to continue to see patients at our Englewood office located at 2828 S. McCall Rd. Ste 25, Englewood, Florida. When I fist came into see Jason after my knee replacement, my motion was less than 90 degree's. After 7 visits I had 120 degree's, and was discharged. I find Jason and his staff friendly, knowledgeable and I really liked their approach combining stretching and strengthen exercises to get the range of motion back in my knee. At no point in my treatment did I ever feel it was too aggressive, which I cannot say about other PT organizations. I was extremely happy with Fitness Quest, and would highly recommend them to anyone.

Tore my ACL and had to have surgery within the same week. I never went to physical therapy so I wasn't sure what exactly to expect. I was very impressed with the equipment, the staff's positivity and my overall experience. I worked independently with each physical therapist there and always felt comfortable and rewarded for my accomplishments. If you need a physical therapist office for whatever reason, I recommend going here ! I am so grateful for them leading me on the road to recovery and I will miss them very much once I am cleared to resume normal activity. Thank you fitness quest

I went to Fitness Quest with recommendation from my surgeon. I have a shattered leg and slowly beginning to walk. I have been going for a couple of months and am almost walking with some assistance from walker at this point. I can't say enough of the therapists who have helped me in my journey. They are so encouraging and have helped me so much! I have a ways to go to get to my goal of walking without any help and I know that when that day comes my team will be as happy for me as my Family and Friends. I would highly recommend this group if you have a need in your life. They are the very best!

This was my 1st. time going for therapy due to having a full right knee replacement. I was scared at first as l entered 'Fitness Quest Physical Therapy Rehab' as l was in so much pain and couldn't bend my leg at all. As my weeks of therapy continue, l began getting more and more use of the leg, no more walker, then no more cane. Today was my last day of therapy and it was like losing a family. I can't appreciate them enough for all the hard work they devoted to me to make sure l was able to return to my normal day of life. I have been very pleased with my time here at this location for my low back and leg pains. I have completed 8 sessions so far and my pain levels have gone down to relatively nothing so far. Staff is great starting with front office ladies to the therapists in the back. Worked with Tyler at first and ended with Richard-both very educated and professional

Everybody that works at Fitness Quest really seems to want to help you get better. Even though you may have different people assigned to you each time you go, they always know where you are in your therapy and how to help you. (You don’t have different people every time btw, this is just saying that you could.)

I when it barely able to move my arm because of my shoulder. Now I have made a full recovery thanks to the great staff.i enjoyed every time I when in, and the staff was always friendly and made me smile even tho they couldn't see it under my mask. They will always be my got to for my physical therapy needs in the future

Astym is a physical therapy treatment that regenerates healthy soft tissues (muscles, tendons, etc.); and, helps with the removal of unwanted scar tissue that may be causing pain or movement restrictions. Best of all, Astym is non invasive and works without meds, needles or surgery.
I learned about Astym from my neighbor; NOT from the podiatrist or the orthopedic foot & ankle surgeon that I went to concerning the pain in my foot arch and heel. Both podiatrist and orthopedic surgeon diagnosed Plantar Fasciitis; but sadly, neither health care provider recommended physical therapy or Astym.

The environment is incredibly welcoming, encouraging, and supportive, and the staff do their best to make sure their patients have an enjoyable experience. The people at Fitness Quest work hard to schedule appointments that accomadate you and tailor exercises plans to best suit your needs so you're always getting the individualized care that you need.
