Came to Sight MD today and was told i owe 50 bill for no show. I can not recall. Told them i need to research this. The girl at front desk say loud the the other worker "you know when you miss a appointment". While there are ppl in the waiting room. I lost it! She was rude, unprofessional and talked my business aloud. There is no supervisor available. When i get loud to address it I'm told I'm wrong. Sometimes the assumption is that because you are the patient and loud you are the problem. I've been coming here for years and never experienced such nastiness.

It was already afternoon when I was referred to see an ophthalmologist ASAP so I looked around , checked out some ratings/reviews, and, as well as this particular office being fairly near me (they have a few in NYC), I was actually able/lucky to get an appointment later that day as my issue was emergent! When I got there, with no excessive paperwork and just a slight wait as a new patient, An assistant took me into an exam room and took my details, issues & history, and double-checked my vision to make sure my symptoms/issue weren't also affecting my overall eyesight: I waited a short time more

They never confirmed my appointment but when I didn’t show up, they keep texting me saying I have a balance of “no show fee” and when I tried to call them through the number they provided (the same one which they comment on under similar negative reviews as mine) they just told me they would call back and resolve this and they never did. This is a scandal and I highly recommend everyone avoid this place.

I had to cancel my appointment. I called two days prior to cancel and was told it was taken care of. The next day I received a call to confirm appointment as well as a text - I responded to both that I could not keep the appointment. Then I started getting bills and texts stating I owe a "no call, no show" fee. I tried calling billing 4x and left two messages over two weeks time - no one answered or called me back. I'm still getting texts. Super unprofessional.

I don’t customarily write negative business reviews but I will make an exception in this case. I tried to go through the practice manager to resolve some of these issues to no avail. There are many things wrong with this practice. I had to wait 1.5 hours for a 10 minute visit with no chance for social distancing. Too many patients were scheduled and we were all sitting in a small cramped space. The doctor was unapologetically late. When he finally entered the exam room, he was rushing through the exam. He barely noticed I was in the exam chair and did most of the talking. The doctor did not address

I never post reviews but felt that I had to this time.
I went in for a vision field test and inquired before I went whether my insurance covered the test. I was told yes so I made an appointment.
After the field test I was told I had to see the doctor. I assumed to go over the vision field test. I spoke to the Dr for 5 minutes and I told him I had dry eye and I left.
I then received a bill for the vision field test which was covered by insurance and an additional bill for $250 for seeing the Dr. I only went in for a test and I didn't ask to see the DR for 5 minutes for an additional $250 that

This place is awful! I waited over an hour from the time of my appointment to be seen. They just keep shuffling you from place to place as you wait longer and longer. They collect your payment as soon as you walk in the door, but have no problem having you wait over an hour to see a doctor. It’s like a mill they book as many patients as they can to get their money and then have them all sitting on top of each other in a small waiting area during a COVID pandemic. Plus they got my prescription wrong after the long wait, I won’t be coming back

The medical care and service I receive from the staff at SightMD, especially Dr. Ellen's
are impeccable. The only thing I'd say needs improvement is the wait time is too long. Yes, I was late, but the wait time was about 30-40 minutes before the 1st test, let alone see the ophthalmologist. That's why I gave it 4 stars instead of 5.

I liked the doctor, but I wasn’t too crazy about the assistants. I waited for about 40 minutes in a room to be seen by a doctor, and I usually don’t mind it because I understand if the doctor is busy. However, I didn’t like how the different assistants kept coming and looking in the room, yet no one made eye contact with me or told me anything about how long it was going to be.

The first thing the doctor said to me before even looking at my eye was "have you ever considered LASIK?"... seriously? I'm in pain, have been waiting over an hour to be seen by you and you're telling me about lasik surgery. I was instructed to come back two days later and another 3 days after for an eye infection. At this point I have been to the office 3 times, having to pay a $25 copay each time to see the doctor for 5 mins and wait an entire hour to be seen. Do not recommend this place. They are so clearly money hungry and none of the information is consistent with the doctors

I was appalled by the behavior from the Door man signing you in, as well as the office manager.
Plain n simple this facility was ridiculously covid paranoid.
Forcing their masks, their hand sanitizer on entering patients is absurd! Especially now that their is NO COVID!
My son and I had an appointment, our first to this smithtown office. We were both wearing masks, just not their masks . Refusing their masks is what irrupted the ridiculous behaviors with the attendants of this office to the point where the police were called. When the police arrived of course the female manager went on

I am greatful that the office was able to fit me in the next day due to a problem that I was having. I understand the wait time.
There were too many people in the waiting room for the amount of space during Covid.
You are permitted to enter the building without a temperature check and sit there until they start the check in process, then they check your temperature.
The Technician was very nice. She did thoroughly clean the machine to check my eyes. I did not see anything else being cleaned at all.
Dr. Richter was nice
I advised him that I am very nervous regarding eye exams. He prescribed medications

I needed to check out a new opthomologist and noted on site that they listed doctor as specialist in glaucoma. Technician was fine as I went through eye tests then went to Doctor. Might have been Dr. Bainison since that's who I had the appointment. Five minutes with him, couldn't understand what he was saying. Then went to "front desk" for scheduling appointment and was told I was also being scheduled for a hearing doctor appointment. I'm going back to my original opthomologist in Smithtown. They seemed more interested in a Botox Event they were having. Just an opinion

My fiancé had lasik in January of this year and to be honest it has been a complete disaster and nightmare for her , to the point she doesn't want to live and I feel completely helpless. I keep telling her if will get better but I don't know that it will but I'm remaining positive that it will. Dr Jeffrey Martin should never have approved her of being a candidate for lasik since she has allergies and autoimmune issues and was breast feeding at the time . She wasn't a candidate but he didn't care . He says he does but I don't believe it . She is in constant pain from

Update at almost 1 year post Lasik- Please seriously read this review if you're considering Lasik. Lasik gave me chronic dry eyes, nerve damage, under eye bags which now I have to find a doctor to surgically fix them and pay another 5000 to have them fixed. On top of all the money I've had to pay for treatments for eye drops, serum tears made from my own blood, IPL, vitamins and the list goes on! Dr Jeffrey Martin said he would help pay for my medical bills and fix my bags that was all a lie. He has done none of these things. Everyday is a nightmare I consider taking my life pretty much

I had another really disappointing visit last week at Sight MD. This was my second time there and I waited 2 hours for a less than 2 minute conversation with Dr. Marcantonio. Not only was I greeted with " I have another eye emergency next door, so what's up?" but was also extremely rushed. If the wait time was not so poor and the doctor seemed like he actually cared about my concerns, this would have been a much more positive experience. However, I was rushed out having many more questions and concerns, and was not given the proper attention. I paid a $25 co-pay to be told that

I always boost about my ophthalmologist. I've been seeing Dr.Kligman since I got diagnosed with Lupus (fun fact he's the reason I found out I had lupus, because he told me he believed I have sleep apnea due to my droopy eye lids which then lead other doctors to find my auto immune disease as well) and he's such a gentle kind hearted man. He always listens to me and addresses my concerns. If you need an ophthalmologist Dr.Kligman is by far the number one person to see.

I made an investment in my sight and it has been an amazing week thus far. I am looking forward to the rest of my life with this life changing experience.
Thank you Dr. Kligman and the entire staff for such a smooth process!

2 hours wasted and I never saw the doctor.
I arrived at 10:15 for a 10:30 appointment. A technician saw me at 10:30, he put the dilation drops in my eyes and at 10:45 he said Dr. Martin will see me in about 20 minutes. 45 minutes later I started asking when he would see me, I was told just a few more minutes. At 12 o'clock I asked again and recieved the same answer. At 12:10 they refunded my co-pay, and I left with dilated eyes never having seen the doctor.
Then they asked if I'd like to reschedule... LOL.
