Open weekends at Reveille Peak Ranch (Fri noon-5; Sat/Sun 8a-5p), providing basic parts and repair services. Friendly, attentive, patient staff. Answered all of my questions and gave an honest assessment of my bike without being pushy at all. Totally recommend - great shop! I contacted the staff to see if they would be interested in buying my Cervelo bicycle.

I don't normally write reviews but my experience at the Bike Farm was fantastic. Everyone I encountered there was friendly, helpful and non judgmental. That last adjective is an important one for me because I have come across bike shops in town that were very judgmental and even a bit condescending, which Bike Farm is definitely not. Will recommend them to everyone and be a repeat customer for sure.

Racist Employees, Terrible Customer Service
There should be a Whites Only sign before you enter!!
I do NOT recommend the Bike Farm/ Plantation!! In the past I bought 4 kids bikes from this place!! Thought it was cool, minus the parking. Recently, I brought two of the bikes I purchased back for a trade-in (kids grow after all). I had the worst customer service I have ever experienced in my adult life!!! The first Associate was super nice and informative... he told me to wait on the manager who was on a test ride ... he would give value for my trade-in bikes...Only for him to later kick me

Bike Farm is my place to go. I have purchased new and used bikes and the experience has been 5/5 every time. Staff is friendly, attentive, helpful, and always on point.
Sales floor staff is very concern about your type of riding and your needs and will work with you until they find what you were looking for and on your price range! There is always a great and big selection of used and new bikes, and sales floor people are specialized and ride themselves, so they know what you need! Plus, you can try the bike before purchasing, which for me is a must.
Mechanics are overly professional, I always

This is my go to bike shop. I've purchased 2 bikes from them and go for service regularly. My son test rode and picked out his bike while they let me pick it up later for a surprise. Not only is everyone here knowledgeable, they are legitimately park of the cycling community. They make you feel welcome and included.
Not to mention the service. Anytime I have a problem the service department goes above and beyond to make sure my bike is running smoothly. I'm constantly referring people and looking at the used bikes. Evokes are a new thing but this is the place to learn more and look into

I really liked supporting this place, but after my last two service experiences, I’ll not be returning. My old road bike was assessed for a $100 ‘Old Major Tune Up’. It’s definitely an older bike but I’ve seen a lot of great work there and felt they would do a decent job. For my 1st Bike Farm repair, I was quoted $50 so for $100– I figured I’d be getting a pretty stellar set up.
I went to pick up my bike and noticed that it still had a lot of grime and dirt and even cobwebs under my seat! Furthermore, the repair was not consistent with the labor description. I’m not sure anything

We’ve purchased 3 bikes from Bike Farm. They are a fabulous local small business that we love supporting! Seth was so great in helping us through the whole process of moving to ebikes, and Hawk was super nice and helpful in picking the right helmet. Highly recommend checking them out - they are very knowledgeable and no hard sell.

We bought a bike yesterday for my partner, who really didn't know what type of bike he wanted. The sales staff was absolutely awesome! Super patient, described all the different types of bikes and pros and cons. I also traded my bike in and they were very reasonable and efficient. I'd highly recommend this shop!!

They didn't have the part I needed, but--even better!--they were able to fix the broken one from my bike, for less than the cost of a new part. Reusing the part made me feel good about being less wasteful! The guys in the service area are super friendly and helpful every time I've been there. They clearly just want to see everyone happy on bikes. And there's a TON of inventory available in the shop.

They used to be nice and helpful but not anymore. I bought a helmet - $ 184.01 in December 2020. The inside protection pads are wearing off and need to be replaced. The bike shop does not do this but told me to contact the manufacturer. The manufacturer says they don't sell to individuals but the bike shop needs to order. However, bike farm is not going to order this. The helmet was really expensive and I guess now I need to go elsewhere to see if they can order the pads... I have been several times to bike farm and they used to be very nice and helpful. But before this visit I asked about

I am a beginner bike rider, and went to Bike Farm with a recommendation from my sister to buy a commuter bike.
Anna, the associate that helped me, was very patient with me and answered all my questions as best she could. When she didn't know an answer, she called out to the many other knowledgeable workers there.
Willie, with all of his biking expertise, helped me choose a bike, and gave me tips on how to handle hills, how to find cycling groups if I wanted to, taught me how to properly load a bike into the car. Everyone was super helpful.
The shopping experience was very relaxing. They let

I love bikes. Now my wife has caught the cycling bug as well. So we wanted to get her a road bike. We visited a few shops and saw a lot of bikes. Bike farm is the go to shop for us. Today was our second trip there. Both visits were just absolute fun. The staff is not super serious or elitist at all. Yet they are very knowledgeable and genuinely love riding bikes. This transfers right into the sells area. Again the staff is just wonderful. Cyrus was great. He made my wife feel very comfortable especially since she is new to drop bars on a real road bike. She has a nice Sirrus right now. So we looked

Great selection, and knowledgeable sales reps. The reason for the lower rating is that as I test rode a bike and asked questions about it, an employee bought the bike I was looking at out from under me. I originally came here for a bike on their website which I called to check availability. Bike farm didn't answer the phone for two days, so I drive an hour to see it. When I arrived I was informed the bike had already been sold. Second bike I was interested in was bought by an employee within 10 minutes of my viewing it. Poor business practice.

The worst experience ever... I purchased a Felt tribike and they were great at the beginning and when I went back to trade the bike in (2.5 months later) for another bike they offered me less than a third for what I paid for the tribike. I found another shop that offered me almost exactly what I paid for the bike for trade... this place is ok for a one purchase only, not for life long customer experience.

These folks are one of my favorite Austin businesses. I had been dealing with a flat bike tire for months and had taken it to another place to be fixed twice. I continued to have the same problem. Took my tire to Bike Farm today and the guys fixed it right on the spot and were able to find the main issue. I have learned my lesson and will make the few extra miles of a drive next time I need bike service repair!

Bought a Marin MTB from Performance two years ago and ended up having a warranty issue (cracked my frame). Turns out, with the demise of Performance, Bike Farm is the closest local Marin dealer. I remembered Bike Farm as a quirky used shop on Lamar and didn't realize they'd become a more true full service shop. Brought the bike in and these guys couldn't have been better. Considering how backed up most shops are, these guys were able to get me a new frame and rebuild my bike in less than time than BSS needed to rebuild a bottom bracket. They emailed me semi-regularly with updates

Hey Bike Farm: When I bought my first bike, ever, less than two months ago - and you walked me through what to look for and you KNEW that it was my first bike -- why didn't you mention to me that having a serial number or keeping track of it would be important? When you talked me into buying the more expensive bike pump and sold me the more expensive bell, and bike rack - (Which I was happy to buy, after receiving the information and discussing it with you; I'm not an idiot) - I spent a lot of money. Maybe not to you, but to me.
So, when my bike was stolen last night, and I came to

I had bought a $185 bicycle from Bike Farm and really enjoyed it. Unfortunately, the frame detached and broke just 2-3 months later. Un-fixable and a major bummer. Although I was not promised any sort of "warranty," the diligent and still happily working customer service people @BikeFarm in Brentwood on Burnet Road were KIND enough to exchange my broken bike, with a similar one. I was delighted and so happy! I was really worried my $185 was going to go down the drain, and then I'd be forced to pay another $200 to buy another bike. Thanks So So Much to BIKE FARM for their thoughtful

Lex is the man!! I walked in close to close and was out of the shop with a new hybrid, lock, and helmet in like 20 minutes! He also put a kickstand ($10) and water bottle holder on for me :)
Seems like the shop has a great variety and also they will do brake and shifting tuneups for I think a year. I'm so happy I found this place :)

I really like this place and am happy they have moved closer to me in their new location on Burnet Rd.
Buying a bike was easy and the was no pressure to do so.
There are lights, locks and other accessories that you my need or want.
They did a nice "tune up" on an older bike for around $40 that I am quite happy with.
All in all a very positive feeling about this place and I will be back there the next time I need something bike related.
