Options for Senior Living was established in 2003 by Scott M. Fischer, who serves as our founder and all-around mentor. We are a family-owned business founded upon the principle of serving people and helping families who are at a critical time in their lives and need help navigating Scottsdale and Phoenix assisted living facilities.
We are dedicated to finding the best possible care facility most suited for your loved ones. Grounded in our core values, prioritizing you above all, our Certified Placement Experts are aimed at bringing you and your aging loved ones peace of mind and comfort, whichever option you choose. There are many placement and referral agents that work without sufficient training or any certifications.
Assisted living forms part of long-term care services that provides a combination of housing, personal care, and health care designed to respond to aging individuals who need assistance with normal daily activities in a way that promotes independence. Assisted living is also sometimes referred to as extra-care housing or retirement living which allows residents over the age of 55 or 60 to live independently.
Memory care communities differ from assisted living communities in that it offers dementia-specific activities tailored to the unique cognitive needs of people with Alzheimer's or dementia. In addition, memory care provides a safe, structured environment with set routines to lower stress for people suffering from a range of dementias.
As our loved one's age, their housing needs and desires naturally evolve as their state of life changes. Where they may have once enjoyed fulfillment in the ownership of a large single-family home or an apartment in the city, at some point, they may need to leave behind the burdens involved in the care and maintenance of such property.

Scott and his team have been more than amazing. They made a chaotic situation easy to navigate. I lived out of state and was trying to get my Dad moved to a senior assisted living facility and was overwhelmed by all the options. Fortunately, I found Scott through a mutual friend. I am highly impressed with the services of this company. These people were very efficient in understanding the specific needs of my 80 year old grandmother especially sandy. They were also very flexible in providing the suitable arrangement for her and the best thing about them is they follow up to ensure that my grandmother is nicely taken care off with lot of love and affection. Overall, I can say is that these people are very trustworthy and reliable.
