Norton Road Veterinary Hospital was built in 1998 by Dr. Richard C. Nelson. Dr. Logan and Dr. Borders purchased the practice from him in 2004. Their shared philosophy is to offer the highest level of patient care possible while communicating clearly and effectively with their clients. They believe in customizing their recommendations to meet the needs of all clients and their pets.
All of our doctors and veterinary technicians spend a great deal of time continuing their education by attending state, local and national conferences on a regular basis. Our mission is to provide you and your pet with the best possible service. The health of your pet is our primary concern. We recognize the special bond between you and your pet, and we will do our best to preserve that tie for a lifetime.

Services
Preventive care is one of the most important services a veterinarian can provide. At Norton Road Veterinary Hospital we recommend annual exams and other routine measures to help prevent illness at all stages of life. We provide services ranging from vaccinations, flea and heartworm prevention, routine bloodwork and more.
Laser therapy is the use of specific wavelengths of light to create therapeutic effects. Laser therapy can relieve pain, improve healing time, reduce swelling and increase range of motion. There is no patient sedation or restraint required and the experience is usually pleasant and comforting to your pet.
We are happy to introduce our groomer Mindy. Mindy has been grooming in Grove City for over 10 years and has been with Norton Road Veterinary Hospital team for 3 years. No matter if you are our client or not we are happy to provide grooming services as long as your dog is current on vaccinations. For dogs we require veterinary documentation of a current: Distemper, Parvo, Rabies and Bordatella.
Please arrive on time for your appointment. This is essential to our busy schedule. If you need to cancel or reschedule, we ask for 24 hours notice or a fee may be charged for missed appointments. Our hours are by appointment, however, we do see emergencies during our office hours. Emergencies are always our top priority; therefore, an occasional appointment delay can be inevitable.

This review is based on not 1 but 2 terrible experiences. The most recent experience was one where they turned my cat away and would not see him because he hadnt been to their doctor for 5 years. MY CAT WAS VERY SICK AND THEY WOULDN'T ALLOW ME TO BRING HIM IN!!!!!!. Are you kidding me?
I was shocked but not surprised this establishment would act so coldly.
Like i said, it wasnt the first time.

The staff here are the most compassionate people I have ever met. They've taken care of all of my pets since I moved to Columbus. Everyone is genuinely happy when we come in and really take the time to get to know us. They are patient with my pets when they're anxious and give lots of treats and cuddles. I wouldn't trust anyone else to care for my pets

The best veterinarians and staff! We've been taking our pets here for over 20 years and we trust them completely. The doctors are excellent and Dr. Logan is very knowledgeable about senior cats. One of the other doctors is great with exotic pets. The rest of the staff is wonderful to work with. Prices are similar to other veterinary offices in the area.
