I can't believe how patient I have been with this office! From the beginning I thought they where rude and unprofessional.
The kids working in the front desk have a no smile policy and look extremely overwhelmed they take foreverrr too on top of that young lady dr seems cool but really not helpful so basically = waste of time and their getting paid, nothing is freee

I understand that medical offices need to be time efficient, but I have never felt so inconsequential in a doctor's office. The front staff display no customer service skills and in the 5 mins that I saw Dr. Ho, not only was he not courteous, it was as though he needed to leave to do something much more important than examine me. I will not be returning.

If you're looking for any compassionate consultation, don't come here. Doctor Ho was literally answering my questions with one foot out the door. Not only that, but he has no sensitivity about how you might be feeling about your ailments.
Read all the 1-star reviews, they are all saying the same thing. I should have followed their advice and went somewhere else.

Didn't get to see the Docter, after waiting 3 weeks for the appointment, the receptionist (not friendly , rushed) wanted me to reschedule if I wanted to see the Docter.!....It was my first initial visit! So I decided to see the nurse practitioner anyway-big mistake, she literally crossed her arms, tilted her head and looked like she was annoyed the whole time which was maximum five minutes. she kept interrupting me when I was telling her about my symptoms, she kept disagreeing with things I was saying about what I had experienced, she belittled my problem and basically made me feel like I was wasting

To each their own. For me the front desk was not friendly at all. I was going to go back but thankfully I didn't. When I went to schedule my 2nd appointment. I said thank you and the lady said NOTHING. The vide was very negative. As for Dr. Ho he was there and straight to the point. He did let me know they can't remove color. I found that interesting but still allow him to laser my tattoo. Although I schedule a 2nd appointment I ended up canceling it.

The office was clean and professional enough despite an egregious wait time after being taken into the exam room. We near immediately made a repeat appointment for one of my main issues. I feel as though the entire meeting was rushed and my other skin issues were never addressed. My skin was definitely not assessed and I was given no real help. After my next appointment I will update this review but for now they were a waste of my time and a rushed mess of impersonal "care". I wouldn't recommend this office.

I had an appointment with Dr. Ho but when I arrived... A different doctor came in inside. Her name was Cheiny Shiau. She was rushing out the door after she came in for less than a minute. She didn't even sit down or check what's wrong. I had to literally stop her so she can answer a few of my questions. I felt rushed and she was no help. I wouldn't even consider her a doctor. I told her I felt some inflammation behind my thigh and she recommended to get surgery when she didn't even look at my thigh or feel anything....

I went down there not too long ago and I was in the office for no more than 5 minutes the female doctor came in there looked the rash on my right hand and told me not to come back down there no more and I asked why she didn't respond. The reception is at the desk told me the same thing it wasn't because I was African American and have not been down there in 2 years advice is don't even waste your time going down there

Its the office you dont want to go to especially if you are a kind compassionate person, your feelings will get hurt real bad like mine were when all I wanted to say was goodbye and thanks. Marie was the best in helping me make my appointment and letting me know when she received approval from my insurance for this visit. All of Dr. Ho's staff are helpful, professional and friendly. Dr. Ho is an excellent dermatologist. He is following my skin condition and I will see him again in 6 months. I would highly recommend this practitioner and his staff.

It really upsets me to leave a negative review about a medical provider given the amount of respect I have for the profession. But this was the single most negative experience I had with a doctor's office, so I have to write this.
Summary: Rude and incompetent back office combined with a doctor that's not available.
I needed a prescription authorization for a long term medication I have been on. Here is what happened:
1) for one week the office ignored it
2) second week they told me it was all approved

I was late few minutes to my appointment it was an appointment for me and my husband together and my face was super itchy and had painful scars ..and I begged the dr to see me she said no !!! All I know you can’t forsure leave a patient in pain it’s about mercy!!! If I were in a position which allow me to take the license from this dr I will do it immediately...

100% agree with users reporting that this office is rude and Dr. Ho does not take any time to answer questions, even with regards to surgical procedures. I did not feel cared for as a patient. I also want to add they treat their Medi-Cal patients with less respect and I was reminded by the Dr. that he wasn't getting paid for this visit, which in my eyes was an admission that no care was necessary. I felt rushed. The doctor never introduced herself when she entered the room. She never addressed me by my name or asked me how I was doing.
She seamed very cold and in a hurry.

My daughter had an appointment with a Dermatologist at this location. The building is bigger that we had anticipated. The building has multiple clinics. The clinic where she was being treated is clean, bright, well staffed and they are following Covid-19 guidelines. We had our temperature taken as soon as we walked in. The staff is friendly, courteous, well informed and attentive. The Specialist answered all of our questions which definitely gave us peace of mind. The treatment rooms are also very clean and bright. We will definitely continue my daughter's treatment at this facility.

Overall, this clinic lacks compassion towards their patients. Ms. Cheiny Shiau needs to work on how to communicate with patients with limited knowledge on her field. I went for a scalp problem that I have suffered for years with the hope to treat it once and for all. She only spent less than five minutes with me, and when I tried to make a comment about my medication, she immediately made remarks with a tone of superiority that made me feel dumb. No the best. Dr. Jamie C. was good listener (no doubt) but she was harsh (like my daughter describes her) and in a hurry to leave the room.
I know in this country the doctors can give you 15 min of their time (if you are lucky enough) but I was expecting more exchange of knowledge (from the doctor) about the products, an specially the skin and hair condition of my daughter, and time. Moreover when I mentioned to the Dr. Jamie C. about the rare genetic disease of my daughter's hair, she seems to unknown about the condition (by her face expression) for what I had to tell her what means the rare

Dr. Ho is one of the best dermatologists I've worked with.
He has integrity in the manner which he works with protocols and products with me.
I started seeing Dr Ho almost 20 years+ ago when I had adult acne. Even back then he had great products he developed that worked on my acne issues.
Now in my late 40's I reached out again to see if he could help me with my hyperpigmentation issues.
I am using 3 products to attack the issue from different angles, and after 6 weeks my skin is more even and less spotty. I'm super happy and relieved that it's working.
His staff is courteous
