Dr. Jung has been practicing for over 10 years and provides comprehensive, personalized dental treatment to both adults and children. Dr. Jung was born in Busan, South Korea, and completed her undergraduate studies at The Ohio State University in Columbus.
Oh Cheol Kwon, DDS is a general dentist at Dlight Dental, serving patients in Washington, DC, and Rockville, Maryland. Dr. Kwon graduated from the University of Virginia in Charlottesville with a bachelor's degree in chemistry. He then received his Doctor of Dental Surgery at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry in Baltimore, Maryland.
Dr. Desta received a Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Howard University College of Dentistry, where he was a recipient of academic excellent awards. After receiving his dental degree, he completed General Practice Residency at Flushing Hospital of New York.
Before pursuing his dental degree, Dr. Desta already had extensive oral biology, microbiology, pathology training, and received a master's degree from Boston University with numerous publications on top ranked dental journals.With his strong biological knowledge, years of clinic training and experience, and his caring personality, Dr. Desta will deliver the best dental care to all his patients.

Awesome doctors who are not only great at what they do but kind, relatable, and gentle with the patients. Been coming here for years and always a great experience. They are professional, there is no wait and they are very accommodating of all people and their circumstances. There isn’t anything that they can’t do for you! Highly recommend this clinic! The dental practice is efficient in getting you in on time at your designated appointment time. Also, the dentist is honest, but gentle both in his dialogue with you as well as his actual procedures. He keeps you informed throughout the procedure of what he is doing, so you are not unsure of the progress being made as well as the time you are looking at to finish the procedure. I appreciated that the administrative staff followed up with me to make an appointment for the remaining work that needed to be done. The font office staff are polite and courteous. Overall, I recommend this practice.

With few dental issues in the last twenty years. I keep good home hygiene, but skipped dental appointments since last Feb dental visit for fear of covid. Two months ago, I went in for cleaning and X-ray, my dentist told me I need to see endodontist for I had severe teeth infection. Another dentist said I need to see periodontist. So I went to see a periodontist who wanted to do multiple surgeries. It was quite scaring, so I decided to see a dentist I trust 85 minutes away. After two visits, this dentist told me I need to see both endo and peri, but peri first. I went to see Dr. Li - a periodontist

Update: Been there a second time and I am still absolutely happy with the service received. Very recommendable. (Previous review): First time visit left me happy and very impressed. I had a regular check up and cleaning. Doctor and staff were very friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Office and surgery immaculate. Glad I chose this dental office. Will definitely recommend and will come back again for future dental needs.

I’ve been going here for the past years and have always had a pleasant experience. Dr. Kwon especially has been really helpful in my teeth journey. He prescribed fluoride toothpaste and helped me with my fillings and my teeth have never been healthier. Highly recommend Dlight Dental, the dentists and support staff are all friendly and helpful!

I have been going to Dr. Li at Dlight for a few years now. After many years of aggressive orthodontics that left me with a deep fear of dentistry I have found the right practice for me. Dr. Li is compassionate and understanding. She has respected my boundaries, my unique needs, and extensive dental and related medical background. She has never made me feel self conscious or ashamed of my fears. The staff at Dlight are always warm and welcoming. I highly recommend this group!

I am now at the end stage of my implant treatment. It has been great and expect a best outcome. Dr. Jean Li is a true professional in her diagnosis and treatment of my oral condition. Worst dental experience of my life and I'm a veteran so that's saying allot. Front desk workers are standoffish and short. I have been hung up on 2 or 3 times and haven't had more than 4 appointments with them. I was their only client at the time and they were clearly in a rush. Uncomfortable filling process, and zero communication. I also experienced an agressive and amteurish teeth cleaning. I expressed discomfort during the process and the assistants (Meg Batt) response is "hang in there" followed by a chuckle while Dr. Oscar Valle didn't change his approach or

Nice people. Bad dental services. The dentist did my cleaning, and it was the worst I've ever experienced. I've had good cleanings in the past, but I didn't consider this a cleaning. He simply looked in my mouth. I was having pain in one tooth where I have a crown. Dr. Desta didn't have time to evaluate it at the time, so I went back. Without explaining, he proceeded to drill off my existing crown and mold a new one. This, as I found out afterward was completely unnecessary. He didn't even mention the problem I was having - just replaced the crown which was not

I went in for a gum evaluation. The office staff was friendly and everything was prompt. The periodontist I saw seemed fine (I've never seen a periodontist before and have no comparison) and listened to my concerns.
I'd be more than willing to work with them, however I found the exam room they had me in to be filthy. The walls looked like someone spilled something all over them. The tv in the room had something all over it and looked like it had never been cleaned. Even the exam light had stuff all over it, which was all I could see when I'm staring upwards during my exam. I came in for a Saturday cleaning. After an hour and 15 minute wait the dentist did my cleaning. It was the worst cleaning I ever had from a dentist. Usually, proper dental cleanings take 45 minutes to an hour. However, this dentist chose to be finished within 15 minutes and didn't even floss as a finishing after the cleaning. To make matters worse the office did not even offer me a goodie bag with the standard toothpaste and floss to take home.
Safe to say I will not be coming back to this dentist. They choose to take shortcuts and are clearly interested in making a profit over good

After years orthodontic work in my childhood, I have a long standing aversion to dental visits. That being said, I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Desta. What a pleasant man with excellent "seat" side manner! He has a gentle hand, you will not leave in pain.
The office is great because it is a one stop shop. They do oral surgery and cosmetic fixes as well. Children welcome too! I highly recommend Dr. Desta and team.

Went in for a cleaning as a new patient. I was able to get in 2 days after booking which is amazing. The receptionist reminded me to call my insurance provider to make the office my primary location, which I did. It put me at ease immediately that they understood dental insurance at this office. Dr. Desta and his staff were so accommodating - I called this morning to schedule an emergency appointment, which would also be my first appointment with the practice. The woman I spoke with explained that I'd need to contact my DHMO to select them as my preferred practice and was able to schedule an appointment for me this afternoon.
When I arrived, the insurance had not faxed over the authorization form, and the office manager contacted them for me to speed up the process. Even with a few hiccups from my insurance company, the office was accommodating and seemed genuine in their desire
