Cleanings: Most patients require cleanings at least twice a year. Cleanings are where dental health begins. A hygienist will remove diseasecausing plaque and calculus from your teeth, especially in hardtoreach areas near your gums and in the back of your mouth. Digital XRays: Most patients require digital Xrays at least once a year.
Several factors can contribute to tooth staining and darkening, including age, ingestion of certain foods and drinks, smoking, and use of certain medications. We offer athome teeth whitening to help you get back to your brightest smile. We fabricate customized trays for you to wear for brief periods over two or three weeks.
Anyone can chip a tooth-a child riding a bicycle, a teenager playing soccer, or an adult crunching a piece of hard candy. It's one of the most common dental injuries, and fortunately, one of the easiest to fix. We can use bonding, a tooth-colored composite material, to restore your smile. Bonding is an inexpensive and conservative way to repair slightly chipped teeth.
We use porcelain crowns to repair broken or decayed teeth. Porcelain crowns are made of tooth-colored material, so they blend in naturally with your teeth. Porcelain crowns are an ideal choice where improved strength and aesthetics are important. We can make and place same-day crowns (CEREC technology) in many cases.

The staff is FRIENDLY, competent and efficient. Dr. Sherman knows what he is doing. He does almost everything in house, and when I have needed a referal for oral surgery, or endodontic care, the practices he has sent me to are wonderful. He obviously has a good working relationship with these specialists. i have had dentists in the past who have upsold me on more work than I really needed, and Dr. Sherman has never done that.

A well run and friendly office in a great location. Very clean and I felt safe even with the Covid pandemic still raging around us.
The dental hygienist had her work cut out for her today after I had not gone to the dentist in 18 months due to Covid. Not only did she make my teeth look beautiful but she also answered all of my questions about how to take better care of my teeth and she had some ideas on things I could do for myself.
And Dr. Sherman is very friendly and personable. I enjoy going to his office.

Dr. Sherman is one of the best dentist i have worked with. He is diligent, detail oriented and most of all a straight person. He tells you your options clearly without putting pressure to get procedures done from him ( which is so common in the dental community). Lana and Jodi who man the office desk are as straight forward as him. Billing and charging is clean with no overcharging and playing tricks with insurance. If you want Peace of mind with a dentist, i highly recommend Dr Sherman.

Today was my first visit with Dr. Sherman. I was in need of a new dentist as I lost mine in the middle of a crown process. Long story but it has taken a long time to get the process going again and to find a dentist I would feel comfortable and who was willing to pick up this process in the middle. Today I feel like I hit a home run. Dr. Sherman was outstanding. He had read my patient history, asked questions to understand and get to know me a little bit which definitely made me more comfortable. Dr. Sherman and his staff treat everyone with the utmost professionalism and concern. They are truly interested in the well-being of the patient. I have been undergoing a series of treatments that also required care by more than one specialist. Dr. Sherman coordinated my care over more than a year. He kept me informed each step of the way and oversaw the entire process. I could not be more pleased with the result. Dr. Sherman's technical skills are of the highest caliber. I can't say enough about Dr. Sherman's skill, patience, and chairside manner. He totally transformed my smile with crowns and veneers. And I've been very impressed with the more routine services at Sherman Family Dentistry; the hygienists always gently clean my teeth and Dr. Sherman spends a lot of time examining my mouth. I never sit in the waiting room too long either.

I went last summer to Dr. Sherman to fix a chipped tooth. After he "fixed" it, the tooth had a weird gray cast and then the "fixed" portion chipped again within a few weeks. He redid for free... but it was again a crappy job which has been chipping ever since. In addition, during my check up he recommended a bunch of unecessary very expensive work. I will never go back. Each day I look in the mirror I think of what a horrible dentist he is. I am going to get my chipped tooth fixed for real soon... the delay has only been because the experience with Dr. Sherman was so awful.
