South TX Off Road Mountain Bikers
The MTB community has a LOT to gain from the 2022 Bond Program, but we MUST make our voices heard.

Whether it be the proposed ~20-acre bike park at the O.P. Schnabel Park Expansion property (think of the progressive features at The Railyard, Valmont, and other bike parks)(District 7), the completion/expansion of the McAllister Park bike skills course with more progressive features and improvements (Districts 9 & 10), a MTB trail system in Pearsall Park (District 4), or progressive downhill trails at the Eisenhower Park expansion property (District 8 ), we have to come out IN FORCE to let the City know that San Antonio deserves and demands world-class mountain bike facilities/amenities.

South Texas Off Road Mountain-Bikers (STORM) is your local all-volunteer mountain bike and trail advocacy 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization.
Rebel Betties is a group for women of ALL skill levels and backgrounds, providing a safe mountain biking haven for women cyclists of the San Antonio/Central Texas area. Rebel Betties is an excellent place for ladies to discover new friendships, discuss all things bikes, advance their skills, and find out about women-specific gear.
Just as in life, children are the future of the sport of mountain biking. STORM Kidz was created as a program to assist STORM parents in sharing their favorite sport with the next generation of mountain bikers. Join us the first Saturday of every month for a trail ride with your kids. See the Events calendar for more details.
Unfortunately, the trails don't maintain themselves and our resource-strapped public parks departments aren't able to maintain much, if any, of their natural surface trails either. Fortunately, following IMBA guidelines, STORM has the tools, training and permission from the appropriate land managers to keep our trails enjoyable for all park users.
