SCAMMED - I thought I was seeing a dermatologist each time I went to this office but discovered after months of seeing my symptoms not healed that I was actually getting medical advice from a physician assistant, Andrea Nguyen. Each time I saw her, I called her doctor, and she NEVER corrected me. This Andrea physician assistant even had her own assistants in the room! Andrea prescribed medication, made diagnosis and did her own procedures - all without a doctor ever seeing me or being offered to me! We came here on a recommendation from our MD and have been very happy with the care they have provided. Staff has always been courteous , helpful and pleasant (smiling faces). Dr. Martin is pleasant , patient, knowledgeable, and sociable. Services seem reasonably priced for medical procedures that are not "elective". (Haven't tried any of the others.) They/He have now cared for 3 members of our family, 2 of which are high risk for deadly Skin Cancer, so we will happily continue with regular check-ups here.

Maybe only the least experienced dermatologist's work here? Lol. Paid $50 in copay and Andrea (a so called dermatologist in training) says, "I have no idea what that is." I gained absolutely no knowledge of how to deal with my concerned area after the appointment.

From the moment we walked in and left, the experience was horrible! There was an army of workers processing payments (scam vibes). Finally we had the displeasure of Dr. Vivian Laquer walking in with hands crossed and a condescending tone telling us she can’t help us. The front desk could’ve mentioned that but NO, they ended up charging us a consultation feee for no reason. Stay away from this shady establishment!!

Came here a few months ago. Terrible staff and the worst experience at this office. No social distance during covid time. Front desk staff are mean and unfriendly. Staff who took me to the room to the waiting area were nosy and make rude comments. Unprofessional staff.
When I was in the waiting room, at least every minute a staff opened the door without knocking or asking if anyone was in the room! Even when the Dr removed my mole, staff came in suddenly and talked about different things! I've never been to a medical office so disorganized like this.

They first on the phone and register give you price and wrong information about price and what it includes, then you go see the doctor and she tells you different that what her employees said....

It was my first time attending this location. I thought the staff and doctor were kind and helpful. I'm just really upset about the wait times. I arrived on time for my appointment and it took one hour until I finally saw the doctor. Seemed a little unprofessional to me and I was very frustrated since I have a busy schedule!

I was very nervous about my mini surgery. (Cyst removal underneath my scalp) I mean, going under the knife is not my jam. Anyways, my appointment was with Dr. Martin. What a friendly guy he was. He answered all my questions and concerns. He was quick with the surgery and it was painless. He knows what he's doing! Nice personality and great conversationalist. Which of course put me a bit at ease. Can't forget about his great assistant

First time here and Dr Martin was absolutely amazing! He was personable and super attentive. You can tell he knew exactly what he was doing. The couches are covered and clean pens are provided for COVID safety reasons. They also check temps upon entry. Making an appt was easy and I got in a little over a week after calling. My rx was sent to my pharmacy within an hour.

3 days passing from my surgery at this clinic, but still no one wants to send my prescription to my pharmacy even after my 2 following calls and 1 left voice mail for them. Also i want to talk to my doctors, but no one connect me to him/her!!!! Already my surgery area got infection when will you want to send my antibiotic prescription to my pharmacy at CVS?!!! Next month or next year???

This review is for Dr. Martin. I had my very first in life dermatologist appointment and was nervous because I don't like doctors office in general but also wanted a female doctor instead (just a comfort thing). Unfortunately the doctor I wanted was booked out so far I decided to just see Dr. Martin for peace of mind. I got there about 30 minutes early and was checked in right on time. Front desk was super kind, they got me in fast! Dr. Martin was professional, knowledgeable and overall just wonderful! I was in and out in 30 minutes and all my concerns were addressed! Extremely unprofessional staff. The PA and one of the estheticians asked me if I washed my face and laughed after. A kinder way to ask a patient is the cleanse their skin is "what face wash do you use?" I already felt vulnerable facing extractions and injections but that was extremely uncalled for. Additionally, once I was sitting in the lobby waiting for my appointment and heard the front desk staff snickering and gossiping about a patient. Calling her "loco" and speaking rudely about her in Vietnamese. I will never be returning. Avoid this place at all costs.

I have had wonderful experience with the office staffs, nurses and PAs. They are friendly, helpful and professional of what they do. The prices are on the higher end but I believe you pay for what you get, when it comes to beauty I don’t want to negotiate because I want the best, and they certainly deliver the best. I've had diagnosed psoriasis since i was 5 years old. I'm ten times that number now. My point is, I have visited too numerous to count doctors for skin. Patient compliance is just as important as the care you receive from a doctor. I'm extremely pleased with the care I've received from this practice and staff and couldn't be happier. I learned a number of new things regarding something I thought I had a grasp on. Thank you to Dr. Nguyen and staff for the amazing care and saving me money on non generic medication!

My 1st time coming here for a surgery. I was so scared and nervous a lot. And thanks God,Theresa took care for me so so well. She is super nice, professional and make me feel less scared and calm me down before the surgery. And then Dr. Tien Nguyen was the one helped me thru the process. He is so kind, he did a great job, out of my expectation. I thought i would lose the eyebrow since that was the area supposed to surgery, and yes, its close to the eye, it’s dangerous but he did it so well, i feel no pain and he tried his best to not lose my eyebrows lol. I recently had an appointment with OC Dermatology in Irvine. I was very impressed by the office staff and Dr. Martin. I had surgery that day and was pleased with the outcome. Dr Martin and his assistant put me at ease and talked to me throughout the procedure. He told me what he was doing at each step from the injection to the stitches. I would definitely return to this dermatology office and Dr Martin in the future. Dr Martin is very professional and I would definitely recommend him.

I went to the dermatologist to get a few spots checked out. The Doctor looked at them and said stop picking at the scabs, and I agreed with him and then he started talking about the bible, injected some steroids and off he went, he never looked at the spot on my right arm, I called back to see if they would look at it. They said I had to make another appointment. In 3 months and would be another charge. I said he never finished this one. The doctor seemed to be in a rush to get to the next appointment. I had an allergic reaction so I came to see Dr. Nguyen. I was helped by his assistant instead. I was prescribed some cream. I moved houses and misplaced my creams so I called to ask for a refill. They said I would have to come in again to get check in order for them to refill the prescription, which is fine. I came in and was helped by his assistant again. I am currently breastfeeding so he wasn't sure if he could prescribe me any oral medicine. He told me to ask my doctor. I asked my doctor and the doctor said it was okay.
