Services
At Oakridge Nursing & Rehab a holistic plan of care is designed for each our wound patients. Our staff is trained to and anticipate and care for their needs. A Nurse Coordinator, assigned to all wound patients, works closely with the family and the wound physician to monitor progress and serve as a resource to address concerns.
Our rehabilitation team is led by a Licensed Physical Therapist who works to develop individual therapy plans for each resident. It is our goal to maintain or improve their level of independence. Our restorative nursing team will also provide daily care in effort to allow our residents to increase in strength, balance and mobility.
Q: What is Medicare? A: Medicare is a health insurance program for people 65 and older or for individuals under 65 with certain conditions, disabilities or end-stage renal disease. Medicare does not cover all expenses and is not designed to pay for long-term custodial care. For individuals meeting the requirements, Medicare helps cover the costs for hospital stays, skilled nursing facility stays up to 100 days and hospice care.
