Services
When I set out to create the Two Dreams treatment center, I knew I wanted to create a place where the disease of addiction was treated using evidence-based methods under the supervision of a caring, professional staff. To this day, we use best practices and an outcomes-based philosophy to provide the highest quality treatment possible for our patients.
Two Dreams is ideal for adult clients (18+ years old) struggling with substance abuse, addictive behavior, and mental disorders. We recommend our residential rehab program to clients who want or need to be out of their home environment in order to focus on changing addictive behaviors and developing a holistically healthy lifestyle.
Two Dreams is ideal for adults on the Outer Banks (18+ years old) struggling with substance abuse, addictive behavior, and mental disorders. We recommend our outpatient treatment program to clients who want to speak with an addiction specialist on a regular basis in order to cultivate the skills needed for living a holistically healthy lifestyle.
Intensive outpatient programs are a specialized form of primary treatment. We recommend IOPs to clients who are looking for a middle ground between inpatient and outpatient care; clients who do not require fulltime supervision, but would still benefit from a structured care schedule. These programs are designed to accommodate clients' work and personal schedules while still adhering to a regular, intensive treatment plan.
Suboxone is a combination of buprenorphine and naloxone. Naloxone is an opioid antagonist, meaning that it blocks the effects of opioids in the body; for this reason, it is often used clinically to reverse opioid overdoses. Naloxone is used in conjunction with buprenorphine in order to act as a deterrent for misuse.
