In 2017, we left our funeral home building and began using the facilities of our event venue. We hope that you will find this site useful in finding information about current funerals, and the services we provide to the communities of Blanchardville and Hollandale, and the surrounding area.

Our staff and I would be honored to have your trust in serving your family, your friends, and your community after a death with arrangements ending in burial or cremation.Take a few moments to express your wishes now and help to ease the burden on your loved ones.
Services
From Ole T. Saether starting in 1879 To Paul T. Saether celebrating 140 years of service in 2019. The history of our family and firm speaks for our dedication to our communities, and the quality of service that we offer families at a very difficult time. Our family is here to serve your family, and guide you through the choices that you have with burial or cremation when a friend or relative dies.
At Saether Funeral Service, we take great pride in caring for our families, and will work tirelessly to provide you with a beautiful, lasting tribute to your loved one. In addition to the services we offer, you will receive an online memorial that you can share with family and friends. While honoring your loved one is our top priority, we also want to help you through this difficult time.
When planning a service, you have many options available to you and we will do all that we can to provide a beautiful and respectful ceremony. No matter your choice, we can offer you a space to join with family and friends in grief, comfort and love. And above all, we will do our utmost to honor your loved one.
Our staff is comprised of dedicated and licensed professionals with the experience to answer all your questions regarding our services. Please feel free to contact any of our staff members at any time. Paul Saether has lived in Blanchardville his entire life. He grew up attending the Pecatonica Area Grade and High School, attended the Blanchardville Lutheran Church, and graduated from the Pecatonica High School in 1984.
In 2017 Saether Funeral Service moved to completely renovated offices and facilities at 206 South Main Street in downtown Blanchardville. The Saether family also operates Blanchard Hall, an event venue opened in Blanchardville in the same year. Saether Funeral Service uses the event venue for visitations, funeral services and funeral lunches, giving ample space for large funerals and gatherings.
