Chef Jenna is proud to host FREE Italian cooking classes at Amore Trattoria. Great for beginners through intermediate chefs, Jenna will cover a new theme or recipe every class. Our bar is open during classes if you'd like to grab a drink! You can also stay for dinner after the class ends as our restaurant will be opening at 4:00 pm!
Jenna and Maurizio Arcidiacono first met in San Francisco in 1998. Jenna was fresh out of college, working at famed North Beach Italian restaurant L'Osteria del'Forno. Maurizio was a handsome stranger from Milan, in town visiting friends. It was love and first sight, and within months, Jenna left with Maurizio on a whirlwind tour of.
Amore Trattoria Italiana has an exclusive private dining room available which accommodates groups up to 35. Perfect for wedding rehearsal dinners, exclusive dinners, and private parties! Our upscale private dining room has a unique Italian ambiance, and is available most dates with enough advance notice.

Food was absolutely AMAZING. Left super satisfied and evem had food to take home. The bartender was our server and was VERY attentive and answered every question we had about the menu with enthusiasm. I am sad I didn't know about this hidden gem years ago, because I've live in Grand Rapids all my life. Will definitely be back soon

We hadn’t been there in 3 years and were so excited to bring friends there tonight…but unfortunately we left being somewhat disappointed in the whole experience. Food was okay, environment less than appealing, service was okay. Won’t be going back soon. We know they have the ability to be an incredible Italian restaurant…because we’ve experienced it before.

Delicious as always! Authentic homemade Italian food, amazing cocktails, and great service. Made for a great evening celebrating with friends. Definitely get a reservation if possible. There's also unique offerings that would be hard to find anywhere else, like rabbit. They define care about their customers, employees, and community.

We just happened to stumble on this place after doing a little shopping. We're so glad we did! Very good food! I had an excellent salad that was really different and out of the ordinary. My son let me try his pasta dish and we both liked that a lot! Very friendly people. The interior could stand a little redecorating, but I know. We're all just trying to get through this doggone pandemic!

We had a very pleasant dinner here this evening. Although it's late September, we got lucky with the weather and were seated on their lovely patio, an experience I would recommend to anyone. I got the impression that our server was new to the profession, but she was pleasant and conscientious. The food was carefully prepared and delicious. And, in the end, I found the bill quite reasonable. A good time was had by all!

Wonderful find. My wife and I are traveling through Grand Rapids MI and happen to find this Italian restaurant. The food is excellent, portion sizes are large enough for two meals, the service was timely and attentive, but not annoying. Wine selection was better than expected, and the after dinner liqueurs; one chocolate and one lemon cello are made in house and served on the house along with a small spoon size portion of home made tiramisu. A great finishing touch. We will go out of our way to visit again. We strongly recommend.

Fantastic food. Great menu, nice ambiance. Service was good, too. This was our first visit here. We had the smoked prosciutto wrapped brie which was grilled and then served with crostini. While we were waiting for our food to come out they brought us each a small plate of bread and a rosemary compound butter which was delicious. Between the appetizer and the main course we had a Caprese salad which had cherry tomatoes, small mozzarella balls, asparagus pieces, and roasted red pepper, along with a basil oil drizzle. For a main course we each got the lasagna and took well over half of it home. Lasagna

This restaurant has the best staff - wait and kitchen, is over six feet in spacing with people seated at the tables, is doing exceptionally with their in between customer cleaning and has amazing food. They are all you could want for a dine in experience but they also offer to go food with pick-up on the rear of the restaurant. See their website or Facebook for current menus and hours.

Very romantic setting. I did call in advance to reserve a table to avoid a long wait time on Saturday night. we enjoyed a 5 course meal with great options to choose from service was great. it was my husband's time eating here and he loved it. very friendly and welcoming staff. our waitress really went out of her way to make out evening special.
