Services
We provide diagnosis and treatment of pediatric and adult skin/nail/hair issues. We regularly monitor patients for skin cancer such as basal cell, squamous cell, and melanoma cancers. Eczema, psoriasis, warts, drug and viral rashes are commonly treated. Surgical removals of skin cancers, atypical moles, and bothersome lesions are done daily.
Margaret S. Lally M.D. is an American Board of Dermatology certified dermatologist in private practice since 1989. A residency in dermatology was completed at the University of Pittsburgh/UPMC health system in 1985. Her focus is on general pediatric and adult dermatology which includes full body exams for skin cancers, moles, rashes, acne, hair/nail problems and surgical removal of cancers/moles.
We are pleased to offer a selection of fine skin products to address many skin issues. We recommend Yuva Vitae, EltaMD, and a few other products we've had good results with. Yuva Vitae is imported from Italy and provides a unique combination of potent antioxidants to improve skin texture, reverse aging changes of the skin, and potentially reduce the risk of future sun damage issues.
Very useful and covered by most insurances for patients who fail to be controlled after a 6 week trial of prescription strength Drysol solution. The botox is ordered through the patient's insurance drug coverage and arrives at our office prior to their procedure. The botox is injected into both axillary areas on one visit to the office.

Visiting from out of state and needed sutures removed. When this procedure was denied at an urgent care, I was advised to call Dr.Lally's office. What good fortune for me! Dr. Lally agreed to have me seen within the hour, and her office staff could not have been more welcoming and helpful, even when I was hopelessly lost in unfamiliar territory. Her nurse assistant treated me as if I was a long-standing patient, and the receptionist made sure I knew how to get back to where I am staying.
I am so impressed with and grateful for Dr. Lally's team!

Find another dermatologist. I wish I could give her negative stars. I went to Dr. Lally in May with a rash on my hands that was intensely itchy. I had this rash for about a month before I was able to get in to see her. She came into the exam room took one look at my hands and said it was eczema and prescribed a steroid ointment. She spent no more than 5 minutes with me. After several weeks of using this ointment, I still had no relief. The rash was getting worse and the itching was unbearable. I called the office and when they called me back, they said that if I was following her instructions,

I've been seen at this practice for a few years now. I have seen both PAs. Ressler and Gallagher. They were both phenomenal. They each took alot of time to understand my concerns and to help me address them. I have only seen Dr Lally one time and that was to have a couple stitches removed. She was very pleasant to me. I cannot speak for others' interactions with her.
I would definitely recommend this practice to my friends.
In fact, I was referred by a friend of mine.

CAUTION when choosing Dr. Margaret Lally. My boyfriend's father who is 88 yrs old is also a patient of Dr. Lally. She decided to tell him about my personal medical condition, breaching hippa laws and Dr./Patient confidentiality. She got him upset and he told many other family members. In my case I got a 2nd and 3rd opinion...i have found another dermatologist who is the best in his field. I still cannot believe that this Dr. Did this. Very unprofessional. Seeking advice from my Attorney, pertaining to this matter. A patient's private....personal case, should NEVER be discussed without patients

In my opinion, find another dermatologist. Dr Lally used to be a great dermatologist. In my opinion she’s below sub-standard. She berated a nurse in front of me. She ought to have pulled her aside. After the nurse left the room - I said she may be new. Dr Lally’s response was she’s been here for a year - she should know better.
The worst of it, I went in because my skin was so bad I was unable to use my right hand - still bad and still can’t use it. The medication she prescribed needed additional clearance from the insurance company. They were too busy to complete the necessary paperwork

Saw Dr. Lally before Christmas and she did a biopsy of a mole. Turned out to be a melanoma. Since we were in Florida, we sought out a dermatologist to excise the mole. He did a body scan and found another mole just 3 inches from the original mole. This turned out to be another melanoma. Also biopsied a patch behind my ear which was a basal cell carcinoma. Don't know how she could have missed both of these cancers since they were in plain sight...the one right next to the other one. Lost all trust in her. Needless to say, will be looking for another dermatologist upon our return to

This place is a cattle call. I sat in the waiting room for 20 mins for my appt, once I was able to see the doctor she brought a resident in with her. She barely spent 5 mins with me and hardly looked at me. She told me to "get dressed" while she was writing out an RX, I had nothing on under the robe from the waist up. She barked at me again to "get dressed", to which I responded that I would once they leave. She had to rush off to her next appointment and needed to get me out of the room. I guess my 6 mins were up. Never will I go there again.
