I gave this place a shot despite the reviews and I must say the front office staff was rude & unprofessional the lady kept hounding me about a copay which, I didn't have one & then recommended that go to Novant Health 🤦🏽‍♀️🤨😒 I would like to see more diversity at the front desk I spoke to the supervisor Gail about my concerns she was kind unlike her staff,😐 the provider Claire was ok hopefully she understood my concerns & I see some results I don't think I will return to this office overall I just didn't have a good experience

I had an appointment about 3 weeks ago and the service was fine. I was in and out pretty quickly and they were able to help me figure out what was going on with my arms.
Unfortunately, service since my appointment has been absolutely terrible. I was prescribed a topical steroid and it was never submitted to my pharmacy of choice as far as I know, and I called the pharmacy twice within 2 days of my appointment.
I attempted to contact the doctors office but never heard back/never got an answer.
3 weeks later and the prescription has still not been submitted even though I sent in another request

Saw Darst a few years ago and had a mole removed. He was super rough and didn’t really walk me through what he was doing. These things tend to make me light headed so I was squeezing my hand while he was cutting off my mole, and he told me to “please chill.” Afterwards I almost passed out from being light headed, he just left me and did not come back to check. His PA came in and apologized and brought me juice. I haven’t gone back since then and have heard similiar stories. I write this review now because I just had an awesome experience at Charlotte dermatology and feel no one should be

My first visit will be my last. I had to check other reviews to see if my experience was unique, but it was not. As another reviewer stated, the office staff is callous and uncaring. I would add that I think they are rude and unprofessional. I was pleased with the medical staff, but the attitude of the office staff gives me all the reason to find another dermatologist. If they are allowed by the management to treat clients this poorly, I have no desire to give them my business. I would suggest looking for another dermatologist office before coming here.

Dr. Darst & his team are excellent. As a patient dealing with alopecia barbae, it's been difficult finding a dermatologist that has extensive knowledge of treatment options + clinical trials. If you struggle finding a good dermatologist to help treat your alopecia or any other dermatological autoimmune conditions, please reach out to Dr. Darst & team. They are absolutely incredible.

I was referred to this dermatologist by my family doctor. I had to wait a few weeks for an appointment. I was sent a link to the website to complete new patient forms, which I did. I arrived 15 minutes early for my appointment and was told that they could not access the forms I completed, so I had to do them again, manually which took about 20 minutes. I waited another 45 minutes to see the doctor. He spent about 15 minutes examining my skin issues and took biopsies for the lab. I waited two weeks for the results, but did not get any. I called the office and traded voice mails. When I finally was

VERY pleased with my first visit to Darst Dermatology. Dr. Darst was friendly, professional, and I didn't feel rushed. My mother died of melanoma, so I was pleased that he did a thorough body scan that didn't feel awkward. He's one of the only doctor's I've EVER encountered who had a clue about the costs of various procedures, and he didn't make me feel belittled me for asking.
I've visited several other Charlotte area dermatologists in the past but wasn't impressed with any of them. My visit to Dr. Darst was by far the best. You can be sure I'll be returning.

Made an appointment to see Dr Darst for my 8 year old after a visit to another dermatologist in the Charlotte area.
The visit to the OTHER dermatologist was for an evaluation of a bump. We never once saw a doctor and the PA took a tissue sample for a biopsy. We were relieved to find out the tissue was benign but were led to believe that what was left would heal over and not return. The wound from the tissue sample never healed and even more scar tissue had started to return. We were then told this was normal including the inability for it to heal and continue bleeding!!! Unbelievable that any

Everyone told me not to do anything to my lips, but if I really want something, I have to have it. I met him at the Cosmetic Surgery Forum in Vegas and he was so sweet! I also had some people try to deter my decision to get lip fillers while I was there, but I am sooo happy with my results! He asked me what I wanted and even with many people watching and learning around us, he was still able to focus on me as his patient and made sure that I felt comfortable. This was the first time I have ever gotten fillers and I was extremely nervous because a lot of people told me it was really painful. He

The office was very nice and easy to find, and the front desk staff was friendly. I didn't have to wait too long after my appointment time. However I did feel like the appointment was a little rushed, even though I liked Dr. Darst and his assistant. Also my prescription was not sent to the pharmacy that same day and it was a little inconvenient for me.
