Services
Dansville Animal Hospital first opened its doors in 1984, giving the community of Dansville a veterinary practice that has stood the test of time. Since the practice was purchased by Dr. Ami Maloco and her husband Ruel in 2012, we have made it our mission to create a practice that goes above and beyond in veterinary excellence.
Dr. Amalia Maloco earned her education from Kansas University and Central Luzon State University. She had experience working as a critical care and regular veterinary technician for 8 years before becoming a veterinarian. Her areas of expertise include preventive medicine for small animal, dentistry, routine surgeries, and soft tissue surgeries.
They treated my Gracie Mae as if she was their very own. Very gentle and doing everything they can to make her safe and comfortable during her shots. She only weighs 2#. Everyone is so gentle and caring with my cats, and you follow up when they have a problem. Thank you for your great service in this difficult time with civic.

Firstly, our pets can't speak, they cannot tell us if they feel off color or unwell or have any other indicators of internal illness. We need to examine them every 6 months as well as run some routine screening tests to detect underlying disease BEFORE it is clinically apparent. Use the age chart below to find your pets age in "people" years and the screening testing recommended for each stage of his or her life.

The people working here are very personable and professional. I appreciated the Cov19 restrictions they had in place for a safe visit. They took wonderful care of my Yorkie/Papillon Sophie. I would recommend Dansville Veterinary to anyone for their beloved pets.

I took my poodle for her annual visit and was able to see the "new" vet. I absolutely loved her. (Unfortunately I don't remember her name.) She and the vet tech both were fantastic and took the time to answer all of my questions and didn't make me feel rushed. I really wish I knew both of their names because they were just so great. My pup was at ease and I walked away pretty darn happy with the entire experience.

We came back from a 5 day vacation to find our 15 year old indoor car with hair missing and scratches on the side of her head. We were obviously very concerned but being new to the area we hadn't established a vet yet and after a couple of unsuccessful calls we called Dansville and amazingly enough they got us in within an hour due to a cancelation. It turned out our cat had a bacterial infection and the vet gave her a shot and some ointment. 10 days later she's back to her old self. We really appreciate all the help and friendliness from everyone at the office!!

Dansville Animal Hospital is the place I have taken two cats for many years, one of which is no longer with me. Under the new ownership, I continue to observe quality care and good diagnosis for my older cat. I appreciate helpful dialogue with the staff so that I understand all procedures and advice for my cat.
