It is unlikely that a healthy, adult, pet dog will develop the severe and deadly form of canine influenza virus. Overall, canine influenza is no more a threat to your dog than an infection from Bordetella (the bacteria associated with "kennel cough").

While it's true that about 80% of all dogs exposed to the virus will become infected, the vast majority of these experience mild symptoms similar to a human head cold which resolve with simple supportive care.About 20% of those dogs exposed will clear the infection without any signs of illness. Infected dogs may develop such clinical signs as coughing, sneezing, lethargy, decreased appetite, fever and a runny nose.

I am so happy to have been referred to the Honeoye Falls Veterinary Hospital. They go the extra mile to dig deep into finding out what’s really going on with your pet.
The staff is great. You can see that they are passionate about their work. There’s a lot of good energy flowing around their hospital. Just what the sick animals need .. good energy !!!
I could write a book about my great experiences with the HFVH ..I highly recommend they care for your pets !!! Because they really do !!!!

Honeoye Falls Veterinary Hospital is definitely the only place I will be taking my animals. I followed Dr Scoda to this practice. From check in to check out they are very professional, knowledgeable, and patient.
Through the whole pandemic they were available and never missed a beat even short staffed.
I do not feel like any service is pushed on me. They are looking out for your pet and you. They bring in specialists as needed.
I trust this practice more then any other I have been. They are worth the miles I go to get my pets the care they deserve.
Thank you to everyone in that office. You

I called this office to get records for my cat that had been previously taken there by the former owner J.J. The office called and said that the cat was listed as owned by J.J.'s ex-gf (incorrectly) and that she had a unpaid bill for another cat and for this reason they would not release my cats records. The former owner, J.J. also called the office and explained this and confirmed that he had paid all of my cat's bills and they still would not release the records. The office told me to lie to my vet and say that the cat was a "rescue" or that the "records had been lost." I find this unethical
