This shop has been around for years, and has more experience in the installation department than any other shop, one installer has over 40 years under his belt. Peter & Crew are the best in this field in the area.
The thing I love about MobileWest aside from the fact they know what they are doing is if they make a mistake like Humans do once in a while, Peter will take ownership. He will admit if something could have went better and do what it takes to make it right. This is called Customer Service. I recently purchased a cassette tape cleaner and demagnetizer. I've had a cassette deck in my car for 15 years and have taken good care of it. I purchased a new cleaner/demagnetizer and when I went to use it, it got stuck in the cassette deck--it was a little too big for the slot. I called several places and all said no or were doubtful if they could remove the cassette.

Clearly they know their stuff. They installed my stereo perfectly and at a fair price. It would have been a perfect experience EXCEPT they spent considerable time afterwards trying to upsell me on new speakers (mine work great), an amplifier (I already have one), and really, a different stereo than the one I had just bought (from a specialty shop in Germany.)

I drove here today for an appointment at 0900 that I made a little over a week ago. I drove all the way from Molalla (hour drive) only to get here and all the doors are locked. There were a few guys in the garage who didn't greet me at all I had to go to them. If I hadn't gone to them, I doubt they would have ever asked me if I needed something. They take my information, tell me the guys running late to do my window tinting. I go sit in my car for 15 then see them unlock the doors. Go to the door, guy working there comes out and says "bad news, we can't get you in today."

Called for an estimate to replace my OEM receiver with a new one I had purchased (from Cruchfield with all req accessories), was given a quote, and same day appt. They completed the install at the quoted price, and although they didn't notice one speaker now wasn't working, when I informed them they reconnected that speakers wires and I was good to go. Sounds great, so no complaint here.

I was impressed from the start. I had purchased a bluetooth radio from another shop and had it installed but neglected to let them know that I needed a microphone installed to go with it. Without a microphone callers are always saying, I can't hear you. Peter asked me what kind of radio I had, I sent him a photo of the box it came in and was quoted a fair price. I checked out a few shops for price quotes on an audio system and it was Peter and Mobile West who was able to discuss a strategic plan in layman's term that made sense. This immediately set them apart from the other shops. Also, Peter makes it a point to carry only reputable, higher end brands in his shop and was able to work out a great price point . Also a big convenience is the loaner vehicles.

Unfortunately while I thought it sounded pretty good their tuning of my DSP was mediocre at best. i'm running my system full active and they summin Speakers together, no EQ adjustments, Time alignment settings were all wacky.
Pretty disappointing for $250.
Luckily I found someone who does actual real tuning and I was blown away by the difference. no comparison, The person went through every speaker individually and EQ them then had me go through imaging test tracks and he adjusted accordingly, took about four hours and he only charged me $200.

Overall pretty disappointing experience. I was quoted $1400 for all the work that I wanted to get done on my work van (new stereo & car alarm). Was told it would take 1 full day. Long story short they changed the price to $1650 and it took 3 full days spread out over two weeks.

I'm positive that others have had a great experience here as I have gone through their reviews all over the internet. Although very professional and polite our experience is different. We have a 2006 Acura rl that had no problems whatsoever. We came here to have a simple installation of an auxiliary plug. After getting our car back the battery drained by morning, had to jump it everyday after. The high setting on the passenger seat heater has stopped working. The cigarette lighter can be put in a hidden position, now the mechanism does not work... And our cars computer started telling us our oil

I coordinated an appointment for a “simple” CarPlay factory upgrade for my car that Peter said his team routinely performed. Was quoted that the installation would take a few hours to complete, so I drop the car off 1st thing in the morning. After not hearing anything from Mobile West all day I decide to call 30 minutes before closing time in order to pick my car up and was told that it wasn’t ready due to unforeseen last minute issues prior to completion. So, Mobile West re-fitted my Silverado with an Alpine Navigation and stereo, backup camera and an alarm system. I came out awesome, went from tiny screen to large screen and maps you can read. It was worth the drive for the results and the price was very reasonable.
After 2 yrs ,had a false alarm problem with alarm that they solved right away at no cost.

I purchased a used car in September and a few weeks later had Mobile West install a double din stereo and a backup camera for me. They did a fantastic job. A few weeks later it was brought to my attention that my backup lights and a rear blinker were out. I had the bulbs replaced but the lights still didn’t work. Peter and Allen went above and beyond... more than just getting me a great stereo at a reasonable price, AND more than it being installed super well with no rattles and with molding that matches the line of my car interior... they let me borrow a car, for free, not once but twice without my even asking so I could keep running errands, AND they fixed the broken button on my window without even asking or mentioning it! I don't leave a ton of reviews, but it's worth mentioning how good my experience was, and that I couldn't recommend them highly enough.

I had called multiple times to ask questions about my car radio do to an attempted theft. They explained that it was broken, so after my insurance said pick a car audio shop I knew right were to go. I went there spoke with Peter and he got me an estimate. Came in a few days later and Allen helped me was clear and accepted payment. Made appointment. They had my new stereo looking great and sounding great. Looks like it was made to fit there. Thanks for your great service guys! I recommend them to everyone!!

Needing a real stereo system for my car, I investigated a few shops and decided on Mobile West. My challenge is that all of my music is on iTunes but my amartphone is Android. I don't want to Bluetooth music from my Android as it drains the battery. My goal was to use my iPod shuffle as the music source, which they said could be done. It can't. The speakers, while good, were located in an area that were blocked anytime I had my gym bag or groceries

I have had a consistently excellent customer experience at Mobile West. I bought a high end car stereo under excellent guidance with a resultant stereo fidelity experience that I enjoy every day.
In terms of service, Peter and his team have been fair and extremely helpful. They are careful to honor warranty and the technical team there is very strong.
At the end of the day, I trust them. When I buy my next car stereo, I will return to Mobile West.
