At Auto Trim Design, we have been serving the greater Portland and Vancouver areas for over 40 years. In 1975, one of the owners, Jeff Peterson started a mobile vinyl repair business servicing auto and truck dealerships. In 1976 Kerry Peterson joined the company, where over time we have added a number of products and services that cater both to large dealers and retail customers.

I wanted to tint the front side windows of my Crosstrek and did a map search of the nearby shops. Two near. I checked their sites. Both looked good. Both looked professional. I put in a request for a quote via their sites to one, then the other. No replies.
Auto Trim Design was just a little further out. Site looks pro. I emailed request for quote. Came back within a few hours later. There was a little soft up-sale, after I arrived for my appointment, but backed by legit craftsmanship and quality materials.
These folks are legit. Very kind and professional. They back their work. I highly recommend

Amazing customer service and very professional staff! I wanted to get the windows tinted on my 2020 Subaru Legacy. I sent an email for a quote, and received a response very quickly! They were able to get me on the schedule much sooner than I expected. When I brought the car in, they were able to answer all of my questions in regard to Oregon's tinting laws and proper care, and showed me examples that they had of what the tint would look like on my car. I was in and out in less than 2 hours! They do great work, highly recommended!

Nancy (front of house) was very polite and professional. She took the time to show me the difference/advantages between the ceramic film and the dyed(traditional) film. Then she explained the warranty of the products offered. The installers Josh and Abby were knowledgeable and proficient. They completed their work in a timely manner and left the truck clean and looking great! They even showed me the best care products to promote the longevity and appearance of the Llumar film on my windows. The proprietor Jeff is a consummate professional with an eye for detail and was truly a pleasure to work

Very professional and does flawless work. I had a clear paint protection put on my 2017 Jeep Grand Cherokee Loredo and you can’t even tell it’s there. I also had them remove the film from the back of my mirrors and door guards that were done by another company and redo them. I highly recommend them, the price was outstanding compared to competitors. I will be back to have my window tint done.

I have to give this place a one star. Our dealer called ahead the day before and made an appointment to get running boards put on our truck. The appointment was at 10:00 the following morning. We drove 50 miles to that appointment just to be told it would be about a 4 hour or so wait till they could get to them and put them on. WHAT??

Excellent service! They were able to get me in for an auto window tinting appointment the next day. It took about 3.5 hours for the job to be done. They offer ceramic Llumar window tinting which looks great, deflects heat from the sun, and does not interfere with cell phone reception. Overall, I was very pleased with their service!
