Services
We started as Los Angeles Firemen's Credit Union by a group of Los Angeles city firefighters during the height of the Great Depression. By pooling their funds together in an old cigar box, they were able to help members with financial support when they needed it the most. Since our main office was an active Engine House, sirens and alarms were common distractions during the business day.

I have been wanting to join this credit union for a long time . Finally I decided to go and become a member. They have really great customer service . Eugene assisted me and was very patient and answered any questions I had . He was also very personable . He even sent me a handwritten personalized thank you card. Who writes hand written thank you cards anymore . That's amazing !

Came to credit union today. While I realize it is a Monday, and they were closed July3rd, they only have 2 tellers! Management needs to step in as I've counted 7 people waiting in the lobby... its unacceptable that the Credit union doesn't staff employee overflow... maybe some staff called out sick? Regardless they should have other staff to step in. Throughly disappointed! Their receptionist can't even take straight deposits.... unbelievable.

Terrible experience . My grandfather was a firefighter and has been part of the firefighting family for 55 years . I went to take a loan and was given three different promises. Each time I accomplished what they wanted they changed the term of the loan. They don't keep promises and they sure do not care about the firefighting community . It used to be family .
