I've been coming to this branch for about a year now, and I have never had any issues with the employees inside. There is always a hello when I enter, and a goodbye when I leave. The only issue is getting in from the entrance because security is tight and you have to go through a metal detector, but that has nothing to do with the bank.
Whenever I have any problems I call the 800 number and ALWAYS get a kind and patient representative. Today Gloria H. did her best to assist me with log on issues, but my computer was apparently the problem. She did her best to solve my problem but it was out of her hands. Always a pleasant experience with Cal Bear!

Deposits are always late, customer service takes forever to respond. Honestly not even sure what they actually do, I’ve tried to refinance, they don’t do that anymore, tried getting a CD …they don’t do that anymore, transferring all money from my accounts to a useful bank. Save yourself the trouble and don’t join, it’s a waste of time. Easily the worst credit union/bank I’ve ever used.

Received an email stating Delays in Card Reissue Orders. I called in to see how long the delay would be since my card was set to expire soon. The representative that helped me apologized for the delay and offered to Expedite a Card at no cost to me. If I wouldn't have received that email, I wouldn't have known until I swiped my card somewhere and was denied due to an expired card. I appreciate the heads up and their attempt to help in anyway they can.

Presented with criteria to open an account ( live within specific area codes, utility bill, good standing within banking system and more than minimum deposit amounts)however upon attempting to open I was met with several hurdles. The account was to be opened immediately, but not for me. A few hours later they even called me to come back because of my signature with my broken arm. Very disappointing but they are closest to my home. Would not recommend otherwise.

Since when a Green Card (Perm Resident Card) is not a valid form of ID especially if I only make a deposit?
I had to take my pants (ok, belt) off and show embarrassing contents of my bag to get in just to get rejected 😤
Oh, and by the way, "California Bear" a few blocks down didn't have any issues with my ID and processed deposit within a minute.
Conclusion: ⭐️⭐️ 2 stars (mainly for sittin' there looking pretty 🤓)
