We grow all of our grapes to make limited truly exclusive Napa Valley wine. We farm 80 acres of vineyards and craft small-lot wines from our grapes.

Our specialties are Zinfandel and Cabernet Sauvignon but we make a diverse range of wines, from refreshing and bright white wine to big, bold red wines. We strive to make the best quality wine every year for our customers who love approachable and delicious wine.

The BEST pizzeria in Napa!! Unmatched quality of pizza and service. We had the Ducati and the Funghi pizzas and both were unmatched. We had people in the party with Italian heritage and had been to Italy and they all said the pizzas reminded them of Italy!! Highly recommended!!

Ballentine was our favorite vineyard in Napa. Mo was a treat to spend 3 hours drinking wine and chatting with. The grounds are beautiful and not pretentious like most Napa wineries. They will be expanding their tasting area over the new year as well. Looking forward to returning!

Great wines. Very small lots, some varieties just 50 cases a year. More expensive than some (2018 Cab lists for $130 retail) but the quality earns the price. Not as scenic as some. These are serious, dedicated wine people.

If you don’t have a tasting with Mo you’re missing out! Delicious wine poured by a great guy! I’d recommend Ballantine to anyone I know traveling to the Napa valley!

Great wine. I tried the reds. I also love all the wildflowers here in springtime. Plus the sunsets over the vineyard making photos perfect.

We always try to check out different wineries when we head up to the Calistoga/wine country. Our first stop was Ballentine winery. This was during covid times so a reservation was required (may always need to have a reservation, don't know there). We had a socially distanced table with shade read for us. Our host was very attentive, long time resident of the area and explained the history of the winery, the vineyards and some very good holiday recipes. Wines were fantastic and we bought a couple of bottles (this doesn't always happen BTW)
Can recommend - will likely repeat!
