Everyone experiences difficult times in their lives. If you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck, depressed, anxious, or stressed, therapy can help you to find a positive way forward. Reaching out for help is a sign of strength. My approach to therapy is informed by over 20 years of clinical experience. I offer a warm and focused setting for discussing the emotional or behavioral patterns that are keeping you from living a happier life.

We will work together to help you feel happier, stronger, and more confident, by understanding the roots of your difficulties and building new coping skills. Please explore my website for more information about my practice and about the ways that I may be of assistance to you. If you have additional questions or would like to schedule a free phone consultation, please contact me at 301-656-8891 or [email protected].

I earned a B.A. from the University of Maryland with a double major in Psychology and English Literature. My Psychology courses provided academic rigor in psychological theory and research methods, and my English classes trained me in the more intuitive process of how to think about and understand people's life stories through the discussion of literature.
By Metro: My office is conveniently located one block from the Friendship Heights Metro Station. After exiting the metro station, walk one block north on Wisconsin Avenue. A small brick clock tower will be ahead of you, on your left. Walk past a strip of shops on your left (including Starbucks and The Gap).
