The first appointment consists of a 75-90-minute session, which involves a review of your health history and current symptoms, followed by a diagnostic exam and treatment. Most patients report a feeling of well-being and deep relaxation during and after an acupuncture treatment. Needle sensation can vary from mild to nothing at all.
We all need to be touched. Reiki is a safe and deeply healing way to satisfy this basic human need by its ability to calm the nervous system. Reiki is used to promote healing, pain reduction, and deep relaxation. Translated, Reiki means "universal life-force energy."
A Reiki practitioner gets attuned to this life-force energy and then is able to transmit it to others through their hands by touching another or by holding his/her hands slightly above specific areas of the client's body.Reiki can be used on its own or it can be combined with other modalities such as acupuncture for a synergistic effect, providing better relief when used together.
