Stay away !! The WORST unprofessional group of people working there. I have scheduled an appointment with Dr. SAIRA MUSHTAQ back in mid December. We received and filled out all the intakes forms and got confirmation for a visit 3 weeks later in January. I even got confirmation email AND text the day before to confirm my time. When we showed up, the front desk people just said the doctor is not in so your appointment was cancelled. I said how comes I didn't get any notifications on this and one of girl said the appointment was cancelled a long time ago like 2 weeks previously. I told her that I

The nurse practitioners are very helpful. They allowed me to take my time in deciding the right path to my recovery. Mr. Tyler was especially caring towards how his patients are feeling. Overall great place for my recovery of a year from a mental break.

The absolute worst doctor you’ll ever meet. She’s incredibly condescending and rude. She tells you to have patience in getting prescribed your routine medication after it takes 3 months to get an appointment with her. Also the consistent pushing of new medications when you know your old ones work is incredibly aggressive and off putting.

We had a very positive experience at Texas Psychiatry Group. The Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, Tyler was great! He was professional and personable. He took the time to listen and explain everything throughly.

Dr. Saira Mushtaq was fantastic. Kind, understanding, very personable, and most importantly- informative. I appreciate that she offered various options and explained the pros/cons of each in depth. Not all doctors genuinely put your health first rather that pushing the strongest/most popular medicine. Thanks!

I have been very skittish of a new Psychiatrist, due to a past one making me feel horrible and rejected. I was finally brave enough to reach out for the help I know I need. She made me feel very comfortable to openly discuss anything on our first visit. She made me feel it was okay, to not be ok. I look forward to her help on my journey to better mental stability at this stage in my life. She is a very warm person and I felt a genuine, instant compassion I desperately need.

Dr mushtaq was great! Until they neglected to mention that i would be seeing multiple people for my care instead of one consistent psychiatrist. I didnt sign up to have an intake appt with one person only to be treated by someone else entirely. And then for that nurse practitioner to offhandedly suggest i continue speaking to my abusive mother and tell me that the psychiatrist has many patients and i cant expect to be seen by her everytime. Absolutely horrendous treatment.

Dr. Mushtaq did a great job with my first visit (with my son). She listened to my concerns. She took time to go over the concerns and treatment options, and she explained everything in a very clear manner. I appreciate her being so thorough and concise. In addition, she was kind and friendly and made us feel we're in good hands. Marlene Boffman

Poor quality of care is the only way I can describe the experience. Some of the frequent problems encountered were,
- Dr. Mushtaq had no idea which medications her patient was on. I don't expect her to memorize all her patients medications but at least be informed about them before an appointment
- Prescription refills were not called in on time on multiple occasions. I had to call the office and have them call in refills including reminding them which medications the patient was on.
- Multiple virtual appointments were cancelled and/or rescheduled at the last minute. Some times, the patient

Zero stars!! Totally and completely incompetent!! My oldest daughter, who moved back home in the fall, made an appointment for Dr. Mushtaq over a month ago, for February 16. She very carefully researched doctors to make sure she could have an IN PERSON appt, because she needs medicine for ADHD and they won't prescribe this medicine virtually. She moved from Denton, TX so she needed a new Dr. here in Houston. This appointment was cancelled because of our winter storm and rescheduled for February 26, tomorrow. My daughter got a call today saying that her appointment for tomorrow was a
