Dr. Scott is proud to have grown up right in this area and now enjoys being able to contribute to the community from which he came. He moved to Olmsted Township in 2004 and resides here with his wife, Kim, and their combined five children. His first job was in 1987 while at Berea High School and was actually working for an eye doctor!

Dr. Scott Sedlacek has 20+ years of expertise fitting all types of contact lenses. He truly enjoys positively changing the lives of his patients by having them experience wearing contact lenses for the first time. He also prides himself on being able to successfully fit patients in contact lenses that have been told elsewhere, or in the past that it was not possible to wear them.

I went here based on all the good reviews but I did not have such a good experience. There was weird gun paraphernalia around and no one was wearing masks (which I did not expect, being in a medical office...). The exam itself went fine and the doctor is very knowledgeable, although I was upcharged for several services that were not presented as "extras" at the time, which amounted to over a hundred dollars more! I wouldn't have agreed to the services had I been informed they weren't part of the cost of the exam. I won't be back - not my kind of place.

I cannot recommend this place enough! I went last week for the first time and have had such great interactions with everyone! Dr. Scott was AMAZING. He is so thorough and knows so much and is very passionate about his profession. He helped me understand everything patiently and I learned so much about my eyes that I never knew before! I also was in the process of switching into daily contacts and was given some trials that weren't quite the right fit for me. Dr. Scott immediately ordered 3 different brands in a better fit so that I can find a comfortable brand without any hesitation. Rather than

Awesome place to go. They make sure your cognitive skills are up to snuff so they may address your eye needs accordingly. Dr. Scott was great. Straight forward and I appreciate that. The receptionist was great as well, she helped me get exactly what I needed and had clear communication. Thanks guys! I now recommend to all friends and family!

Dr. Sedlacek is incredible! I had (sudden onset) double vision and had an appt with Dr. S. He started from square one, did many tests and lots of questions, and figured out a way to correct it. Most importantly, he explained everything and helped me to understand what was going on with my eye. Highly recommend!

Dr Scott is an amazing doctor he really cares about his patients he's not just here to give you an eye exam he explains the exam to you and goes over everything that you need to know. he fit me with brand new multiple contacts that work the best for me, the front desk or Camellia was amazing help me out with my contacts with my rebate and picked out some new sunglasses for me I would recommend this practice to everyone.

After living in this community for over 10 years and still driving to the east side to an optometrist I had been with for 25+ years, I made the decision to seek out a provider close to home. Within hours of sending a message on the website, I was contacted and got an appointment with the Eye Place. My experience with Dr. Scott was excellent. He not only took his time, listened to my needs/concerns, but shared more information with me than I had ever known before. He provided follow up visits and altered my prescription until it was just right. I've since moved my whole family to his practice ~

Our experience was not as friendly as others have posted, but perhaps it was a bad day in the office for both receptionist and Dr. Also, the Dr. did not wear a mask (times of Covid) while performing the exam, which may be relevant to some reading this review. The glasses were very expensive even after 160.00 insurance frames allowance and complete lens coverage, and there was no discussion about this or benefits allowance, just take it or leave it with a very grumpy vibe, so we did not buy and hurried out of there. But the exam seemed thorough and efficient, the Dr. was nice enough during the exam
