Called them to repair a washing machine. Came out, told me what issue was, said they would check on part availability and call me back. Never heard from them again. I explained that the machine couldn't function as is and that it was desperately needed. I have called and left messages numerous times and they won't call me back. I bought a new washing machine and donated the one they were to repair, which was only four years old. If only people would do what they said they were going to. Totally left me hanging and problem unresolved.

I had a very negative experience with Wrights Appliance Repair in Durham. Had a leaky washer, called them out, the guy took my $90 and said he "couldn't find anything wrong with it". They took my money and did not fix my washer, and now it is leaking again. Called 4 times, including twice this morning. No one has even bothered to return my call. Horrible customer service.

I don't know how I didn't see these reviews before calling this company. Too bad, we just lost $208 for a repair that didn't fix anything and they now do not return phone calls and have not come back to fix our oven. I had a second appointment with them on Monday and they stood me up, no call, no show. No one returns calls or listens to messages and the woman was very rude to me when I finally got her on the phone to complain. She said the owner would call me back - nothing. Now we are out the money, the oven is still not working and we have to start all over with someone else. Avoid

Wright Appliance Repair is the best. This is the third time they have helped me. This time I had another company tell me I needed a $450 repair. Wright came out and in about 15 seconds found the problem: a piece of glass stuck in the pump, so he took it out and the dishwasher works perfectly. He even stayed around to be sure that it ran through the cycles properly. They really know what they are doing and take pride in it.

Just got off the phone with individual purporting to be owner of this company, making allegations that I had referred to his folk at Wright as incompetent. Untrue statement; I have no way to know their technical competence at all; no one called back as promised or has shown up as promised, and the "owner", who never introduced himself by name called me with defensive accusations that I had called the company incompetent. The word I used was confidence, as I have lost confidence in them doing as they represent they will.

We had a microwave failure yesterday and today we were able to have Sid Wright come to make a repair. He was a friendly helpful fellow and was able to get our microwave going and educate us on some aspects of the microwave that we weren't aware of. I enjoyed our conversation and would call him again if the need should arise.

Mr. Wright came out to fix my washer machine and got me in the next day. He showed up timely and was very professional. He fixed the problem in a matter of mins and also fixed another problem with it. I paid the price that we agreed upon. The service was fast but Mr Wright was also very nice as well!

Dishonest scammers!! We purchased a home in July of 2018 and previous owners paid Wright Appliance to fix a broken stove burner. This included getting new part and installation. The business apparently ordered the part and then nothing happened for months. Each time I called they gave me another "story" about how this part is so hard to get and takes a long time. I also involved the listing company who worked with the sellers. They kept calling and putting pressure on them as well for months. By November of 2018 Wrights appliance finally contacted the listing office to tell them that

I have repeatedly called and have been promised a return call...I have never had one returned call!
I've emailed questions and received one vague response...when I emailed a request for him to clarify...NO REPLY has been sent...it has been over a month!
