Edward A. Reynolds West Side High School seeks to develop economically self-sufficient, socially conscious, critically thinking citizens. Our school's mission is to provide an educational environment that assists students who have been unsuccessful in traditional high school settings. We serve students who have been pushed out of, or become disenchanted with, their previous schools.
Our school features the LYFE Center (a day care program), an on-site clinic with services provided by the Ryan Health Center, a social work support staff, and partnerships with numerous non-profit organizations to enhance the health and wellbeing of our students.

Services
Student life at Edward A. Reynolds West High School is incredibly supportive. Our teachers and staff develop caring relationships with our students, allowing for the adaptation of curricula to meet the social, emotional and educational needs of everyone. Our student experience is enriched by athletics, volunteer opportunities, class trips and other exciting extracurricular activities.
Goddard Riverside's Learning to Work Program is a partner with West Side High School to provide opportunities for students looking for a fresh start in a new learning environment. The program works to build a positive and inclusive community by engaging youth in postsecondary planning, social-emotional support, and career readiness, including paid internships.
In partnership with Learning to Work we offer a variety of activities, for all types of interests, in order to support students growing, developing and bonding outside of the classroom.
