Established in Oak Park, the team at our drug rehabilitation center is backed by almost three decades of experience in medication-assisted treatment and rehabilitation.
Substance abuse and drug and alcohol addiction devastate the lives of both the individuals who suffer from the addiction, as well as their families. Unfortunately, as a whole, substance abuse and addiction have a detrimental effect on communities.
Substance abuse and drug/alcohol addiction have been shown to extract much more than a financial cost, but one that limits the resources and capabilities of all those touched by the disease of addiction.Driven by first-hand experiences, we've set out to eliminate the drug problem in Oak Park and save the lives of its citizens - one life lost, whether a drug fatality or a life surrendered to addiction, is one life too many.

It is no secret that substance abuse and drug and alcohol addiction are detrimental problems, affecting every aspect of an individual's life. Addiction is considered a disease, and it affects both the brain and behavior of an individual, making it hard to make the decision to stop using drugs and alcohol altogether.
There is no doubt that drug addiction and substance abuse can damage people's lives, not only on an individual basis, but relationally as well. If you or a loved one is struggling with drug or alcohol abuse, finding a drug rehabilitation center with comprehensive treatments is the first step to recovery.
When you think of a drug rehabilitation center, you may think of a facility where individuals go to overcome a drug or alcohol addiction. While that is correct, detoxing from an alcohol or drug and the ensuing withdrawal is just the first step in a substance abuse treatment program. But, a vital element of the process is counseling.

My husband didn’t want to come home. Apparently, the food at Metro Rehab was far better than my cooking.
Insulted? Why would I be? On the contrary, for fourteen blissful days I was spared the onerous duties of cook, nurse, doctor, physiotherapist, occupational therapist, psychologist, butler, hand-maiden, bottle-washer and carer. It was respite care in every sense of the word ... for him, and candidly, for me.
The level of professional and personal care Neil received at Metro Rehab was second to none. Upon his arrival, the attending physician, Dr Nicole Hele, thoroughly studied his case file

I am absolutely disgusted and appalled at the rudeness displayed by some security personnel that work at the door of MetroRehab. During this Covid-19 period, strict changes have been made in order to limit the number of visitors to patients at this rehab centre. Upon arrival to visit a family member, my family and our Priest were met with extreme rudeness and disrespect by the guard at the front door as he brutally enforced the MetroRehab visiting rules. The introduction of stricter rules does not warrant the absolute disrespect that was shown to my family and I. Nonetheless, other guards treated

Horrific. Can’t believe this place is even considered a hospital. They left my brother in law sitting in this own urine for 40 mins failed to answer any calls both though the bed call system or via phone. Failed to read medical history or pay attention when told verbally which resulted in setting off at PTSD attack then refused to enter the room to help him. Knowing he has severe injuries left him in chair for hours causing him to suffer pain. Sadly just another example of patient abuse in the care sector.

Terrible service. Staff constantly forget to give medications at appropriate times, requested ice packs never given and didnt waterproof wound prior to pool physio exercises so bandage became soaked. Also was told I had to pay out-of-pocket amount of approx $2000 even when I said I had checked with health fund prior to admittance and was fully covered with no gap.

This place is a complete con job, do not beleive the glossy marketing! Worst experience I have ever had was left for an hour sitting in my own piss unable to move, due to broken legs and back injuries. I kept pressing the call button, then I heard voices outside door and tried calling out "excuse me" and they just went quiet trying to pretend they couldn't hear me. I then started screaming at the top of lungs. I tried calling reception "2" on their internal phone network that was not answered. I contacted family to come help and finally called 000 and had the police come down. I flipped over the

I spent all up 4 months there - on three consecutive stays (don't ask what happened!!!). The staff were caring and always wanted to do the best for you. The accomodation - almost like being in a hotel (except it is a hospital) the food - a definite 5 star. The only think I did complain about - was the intermittent wifi - they fixed it (thaks Denise). The rehab - it was a long slow process - given my injuries - but with the "team" approach from medical/physio staff and the facilities - particularly the heated mineral pool - I have bounced back! Well done Metrorehab. If there was a hospital I had
