I have never been to a better vet than Dr. Ryan Gates. He has been treating all six of my animals for years and repaired both knees (separately) on my lab/pitbull who is doing great! He is compassionate and knowledgeable and takes his time explaining what is going on with your pet. The office staff is very nice and friendly and they are also extremely knowledgeable as well.
We absolutely LOVE Dr. Ryan and his staff! I would never take my two dogs anywhere else! The level of service we receive and the time Dr. Ryan takes with us, is worth everything we pay! My dogs are my babies, and like children, there aren't many expenses I would spare in caring for them.

Services
To maintain a current license, veterinarians in Ohio must complete 30 hours of continuing education every two-year interval. But our doctors don't stop there. Keeping up with the current knowledge in veterinary medicine is vital to providing your pet with the most complete care. Each doctor pursues continuing education in the fields of medicine, surgery, diagnostic tools and equipment, disease prevention, nutrition, behavior, etc.
From preventive medicine to orthopedic surgery, from a kitten vaccine series to end of life care, your pet will receive the highest quality health care delivered with compassion at the Cuyahoga Falls Veterinary Clinic. Health and happiness for your pet begins with regular examinations. Your pet should be examined annually to semi-annually, depending on your pet's condition and life-stage.
A pet cannot have the best quality of life if they are experiencing oral pain or discomfort, and because dogs and cats do not keep their own mouths clean, it is incumbent upon us as their caretakers to be certain that they have healthy, comfortable mouths.
This is done primarily through preventive (semi-annual to annual examination, daily brushing, appropriate diet, etc.) and maintenance care (thorough, professional cleaning under general anesthesia, polishing and Oravet application). At times, antibiotic therapy and oral surgery are necessary to ensure dental and oral health, and we are trained and ready to provide these services for our patients in need.

More pets are euthanized on an annual basis across the country due to behavioral problems than medical problems. This is very sad. Doctors and members of our staff have been trained to assist you in behavioral training, and we have a number of contacts for trainers in the area that can be a wonderful resource for you and your pet.
If you have an emergency during regular hours, call us and we will work you in. If an emergency arises after our regular clinic hours, please call MedVet Akron at 330-665-4996. An important part of our mission is making the cost of optimal care as easy and manageable for our patients as possible.

Upon reading the reply - blah blah blah ..... WHY ARE YOU TWICE AS MUCH AS OTHER VET OFFICES ? I checked the services you provided .... 2X what other offices charge - ??????
No charges were discussed, RIP-OFF
.....Overcharged ! Taken advantage of ! My cat was in severe respiratory distress, and Cuyahoga Falls vet Clinic was closest (which is why I went here), X-rays and euthanize my cat within 5 minutes, and get this HUGE bill. I proceed to call my Vet; I paid twice as much. This place and vet are taking advantage of you - check other locations. Very unethical.

We had an appointment at 8am along with about 5 or 6 other people. They are still doing curbside, not allowed to go in with your pet. We had no idea they were bringing in numerous animals at one time and you had to leave them until they could be seen. We took our dog and went home and made an appointment with another vet where you can actually go in with your animal for a normal visit.
