My family and I are new to the area and looking for a nice place to rent. Despite 50/50 chance of loving the complex (due to reviews) unfortunately we were forced to side on the negative end. We stepped foot into the rental office and was immediately turned off by the demeanor of the young lady who greeted us, I will not go into details but it was a very unprofessional experience I wish to never experience again.

Would rather give ZERO STARS! The new property manger who has proved herself a con artist is the most unprofessional “professional” I’ve ever came across! She is extremely rude and always has a stinch of smoke on her breath and her clothing. We loved being here when Renee was the property manger. Since Kimberly Ritter has stepped foot on this property, myself and 2 of my neighbors have made the decision to not renew our leases solely because of her unprofessionalism. The cottages would not even be a LAST RESORT place I’d recommend to anyone.

I visit the cottages atleast once a month seeing family that lives there, i have never heard anything bad, the property is always clean, and well landscaped. i have interacted with management on occasion, and never once felt unwelcomed. as a visitor, and knowing my family lives there, i would recommend the property to anyone seeking a quiet and clean place to live.

I have recommended the cottages of martinsburg to family and friends. I come to know of the cottages due to family living there and go to visit often. I was surprised at how lovely the grounds are kept and how nice the apartments are. I have met several of the managment personnel and the property manager Kim has always been pleasant and willing to help whenever needed. I would recommend anyone to live at the cottages.
