Our staff has been selected for their excellent clinical skills and their caring, friendly attitudes. We understand your dental needs and welcome your questions for assistance with your care. All of our practitioners receive continuing education and are aware of the latest advancements in the delivery of state of the art care to our patients.
During your first visit, we will do a thorough and comprehensive examination, including an oral cancer screening. We will gather all necessary records, which may include a full set of X-rays and models. All information that we obtain will be carefully evaluated so that we can customize a treatment plan in order to meet your individual needs.
Where is your office located? We are conveniently located at 1696 Mass. Ave. in Cambridge, between Harvard and Porter Squares. You can reach us easily by taking the Red Line on the Alewife route to either Porter Square or Harvard Square and walking a few short blocks. For those driving, here is a small parking lot behind our office and metered on-street parking a well.
We make every effort to keep your costs down while maintaining a high level of professional care. You are given the option to pay for treatment at the time of your visit. However, if your treatment program requires several visits, you will be given an estimate and asked to make financial arrangements with one of our staff members.

Great staff handling a very brisk flow of professionality.
there's a hygenist that is superb, works hard on my teeth, and provides insight full, CURRENT, knowledge on self care.
i'd name her but the it would be more difficult to get my slot .
but this is the best environment i've found to take care of this most Important part of self care.

Been a patient here for about 3 years and never had a bad experience. They have been handling the pandemic well, too. Everyone is in protective gear and they even leave the windows open a little for ventilation in each room. Jamie is great, the staff is pleasant and everyone genuinely cares about your health. If they take your insurance, I highly recommend!

Have been going here for about 15 years even after moving two towns over 14 years ago. It's so worth the drive because the team and care is fantastic. My dental hygienist, Lady, is the BEST: gentle, efficient and warm as a person! Dr. Babo is a pro as a dentist. Even as a small biz, they have the latest tech to keep your care up to date, yet know all of their patients as people. Great place.

For years I neglected to have my teeth cleaned and checked. Im glad I found Dental Services P.C. as I couldn't ask for anything more. I wish I recall the dental hygienist as she was very nice, courteous, and most importantly informative! Glad to have found a new dentist I like and looking forward for my future cleanings and checkups.

I've had nothing but positive experiences with Dental Services and Dr. Babo. However, as is the case with most reviews you only seem to get the very good and the very bad experiences that people have had.
I personally have only had great experiences with Dr. Babo and my hygienist. They have been nothing but professional and I have had zero issues with anything done during any of my visits. They are always accommodating of my tardiness as traffic in Cambridge can be a nightmare and my co-pay is next to nothing.
I will say that I have only had 1 cavity filled here, so I have not had to have

This review is for the pediatric dentistry only. I still love the hygienist, Jamie, that I see. She is very thorough. Five stars.
However, the pediatric side is increasingly disappointing. There is only one pediatric dentist, and she only works on Thursdays. This office cancels appointments with very little notice. My sons have had fine care, but there have been times, for example, when we have come in for an appointment and then been sent home because the previous diagnosis was incorrect. This week, one child's appointment was canceled, but not the other. One child could be rescheduled

Dr Damon has been my dentist and my husbands dentist for the past 10 years. His work is impeccable. All the staff here are amazing from just coming to the front desk to out lovely dental hygienist Jamie! We have loved coming here over the past 10 years and look forward to coming in for cleanings and all our dental work!

My experience here was a complete disaster. First, Dr. Babo recommended 12 fillings for me despite the fact that I brush and floss twice a day and was experiencing no pain or sensitivity. She would not listen to any of my objections. When I went in for my first four fillings, she drilled deep into a nerve and caused severe nerve damage. I could not even sleep through the night because of the pain. I went back a week later complaining of the pain, and she just drilled even deeper into the tooth. She also admitted that doing four teeth at once caused a lot of stress on my mouth, so I am baffled

I looked up this billing code they used online and it's basically a way for dentists to make more money of small encounters. What he did was definitely not emergent or clinically indicated.
I attempted to call and talk to someone. The secretary argued with me for 15 minutes in a conversation that included her saying "you could have asked" and "well you haven't been here since..." This should have absolutely no weight on how I am billed for something.

Absolutely. Unprofessional. Experience. Steer clear from this office, as it is a nightmare. I'm pretty easy going as far as the dentist goes, but at my first visit, the hygienist accidentally threw my retainers in the TRASH, then had the secretary dig them out... Second visit, the secretary said I wasn't on the calendar, even though I had received a call the day before to confirm my appointment. Also in the second visit, I got an estimate for treatment which was incredible wrong and misleading- got a bill in the mail a few weeks later for more than 4x what they had estimated! Complete

Hm, definitely think the 3 stars here is so misleading! I've been going to this place for my routine check ups for over a year and haven't had a problem! I haven't had to wait for my scheduled appointment for more than 10 minutes, the staff and dentists are more than friendly and efficient, and they open on Saturday's!! What more can you ask for, really?

The nicest dental hygienists and dentists. Our dental hygienist, Brooke, does such a thorough, careful job and always makes sure that she's not hurting us in any way, gives you notice that there's water or suction coming, and shows you how to take better care of your teeth without any judging. Dentist is kind as well, though I can't ever remember her name (sorry). Front desk staff has been nice to us and we appreciate the text reminders for appointments.
