CPA M.S.-Tax has earned dual California licenses that enable him to simultaneously practice as an Attorney and as a Certified Public Accountant in the practice areas of Taxation, Estate Planning and Business Law. John A. Harbin is a veteran California tax litigator with additional training as a certified public accountant. Beginning his career in 1981, John has amassed particular expertise in the areas of tax controversy, tax bankruptcy, tax audits and international tax. A noted author and lecturer, John has written and updated textbooks on areas of taxation and has designed seminars for accounting professionals.
Marc Schwartz is a dually licensed International Tax Attorney and CPA that serves as of Counsel to the Tax Law Offices of David W. Klasing as to the federal and offshore implications of international tax and estate planning and compliance. Also known as the "International tax nerd-in-chief".
He spends most days working with clients - U.S. and foreign individuals and businesses - providing practical strategic tax and business advice to help them successfully work across borders and achieve their short- and long-term goals.Marc has lived and worked in the U.S. and abroad in both governmental and private sector roles.

Dave was great! I scheduled a meeting with him and he walked me through the process of writing to the IRS to eliminate penalties that they said I owed. I did what he told me to do, and the next letter I got from the IRS told me that they were REFUNDING me over $3,000. Needless to say I was shocked when I got the letter, and if it weren't for Dave, I would have WAY overpaid! Call him now!

he rescheduled my appointment twice. I ended up requesting a refund from his assistant. however for some reason , He called me and was very rude and hung up the phone. oh , and he called me twice from the car (couldn't even hear him clearly) very unprofessional !!!!!!!

This attorney has no respect for people's time, I paid for a phone call appointment for today at 4:15 for a consultation. I did not get a call. I called the office , they said David is 1/2 hour late. After 45 min, I had to call again, secretary said they didn't have time and I needed to reschedule. No one cared to call sooner to say they can't make it. I had to cancel, and they reimbursed my money. If this attorney does does not respect people's time, he certainly has no respect or care for people's business. I wouldn't work with such professionalism, even if it was for free,

I have a unique tax situation relating to a real estate sale involving a nonresident alien owner. I couldn't find any lawyer or CPA to even point me in the right direction on how best to do things legally and pay little tax as possible. Dave himself has never encountered such a case, but he did the digging and found some very useful information for me. Dave was very professional and easy to communicate with. I am pleased with the advice and service I received.

Took the 10 minute call and got way more than I paid for! David has immediate answers on what I felt were very obscure questions relating to visas, stock options, taxes on equity payouts and more. Took a chance at a 10 minute consult and was extremely impressed. Atty Klasing, is an honest attorney who gave me great legal advice. Highly recommend for any Tax law question. Mine was about classification of employees and he set me straight. Also, spoke to his assistant James who gave me further info at no extra charge.
