You're required by law to carry auto insurance. So you may not think it makes a difference if you get it from a talking lizard, a comic spokesperson, or a locally owned insurance provider like us. If all insurance is alike, what difference does it make where you get your coverage-just shop around for the best price, right?
Motorcycle insurance is a way of sharing the risks of riding between you and your insurance company. The way it works is simple. You pay a set premium to an insurance company for coverage. In return, the company promises to pay for specific financial losses that might occur during the term of the policy.
Before you launch your boat you'll need to know where your homeowner's policy ends and where your boat owner's policy should start. Boat insurance covers you from trailering to the marina, to side-swiping a dock, to reimbursing you for weather-damaged equipment, and perhaps most importantly, covering you in case you, your passengers or anyone else is injured due to negligence.
These questions are crucial to address, because you can't get insurance after a disaster strikes-and that can happen at any time. Home insurance covers the hazards that most homeowners face-everything from fire to theft, a cracked foundation to accidents on your property. When a loss occurs, you will file a claim with your insurance carrier and you are paid for the expenses, minus any outstanding deductible amounts.
No property taxes, no lawn cutting, no snow removal. Just simple living! But what would you do if you returned from work, or a vacation, and all your possessions in your apartment had been destroyed by a fire? Or if there was a break-in and some of your most expensive stuff was stolen? You may think that the building owner's insurance will take care of all the damage caused by a fire.

I've been with the agency since it was Panzera Insurance, and since Bill sold the company, I've gotten absolutely gouged with price increases nearly every renewal period and changes to my policy I did not authorize. When it was Panzera insurance, the company responded to changes in my coverage much faster; now I'm told it takes "weeks" for corporate to process changes to my policy--which isn't how it's set up, which I know because my parents both worked for Mercury insurance. We're actively shopping for a new agent, because we can no longer trust these guys, and if you can't trust your insurance
